You didn't get a DELL did you... I mean, these things are just, peices of over-rated crap. Get a Sony or go to Linux and make up your own design. But then again, Dell isn't as bad as Mac. I know Mac isn't actually that bad, but for some reason I hate them... -----------------------

Interesting topic we've switched to here. I can't say too much, I've got a Gateway laptop, Intel Celeron 2.2 GHz processor, 30 GB of HD, 384 MB of RAM (now that I upgraded a bit...), 8 MB shared wtih the video card fast enough that it works as if it's 16, and a 120 GB external hard drive. Not enough to play the newest games (like C&C: Generals or Homeworld 2), but more than enough for the stuff that I play (Medieval Total War, TIE Fighter, Starcraft, etc.). -----------------------

and yes, Linux is an operating system, i would consider using it if it was compatible with anything, but its not, so i wont, i wont live without NetObjects Fusion, i would die, and i dont like doing dual boot, it just screws everthing up, i usedta do that when i played XWA, i'd just switch over to '98 to play it, but decided it was too much trouble and stopped playing it.

I don't really understand any of the stats you guys are putting up there, but I think I'll go downstairs and check it out when I get home. We have this old Sony VAIO from 99... It's basically stacked out of it's mind. Has the cable hookup in the back, visual audio in the front, so you can hook things up from you camera,(Any Digital Camera) and watch what your video taping on your computer. It can also hook up to your TV so you can see what your doing on your computer, on your TV. And that's all I really know about the thing. Those are just accessories on the front end. I need to get an updated version of it. That'd be nice. -----------------------

There is nothing wrong with being a geek. Things keep going the way they've been, pretty soon we will be the only ones that have a clue as to how anything works, and then we will have ultimate power.
I'm too embarassed to say what my PC is capable of, but just wait a few months. I have a few thousand that ceased to be reserved once I got my scholarship, so my college PC is gonna be incredible. -----------------------

Meh, I'm doing fine on my brains rather than offering to sell four years of my life to the military Anyways, I realize there's always a use for cannon fodder in the military, and I can understand that it's find to recruit from the bottom end of the population for that. But (and I may sound like an elitist here...), I would feel a whole lot better if half the ossifer corps didn't come from the same place... -----------------------

Eh, my education will probably lead to military applications anyways, I'm an aerospace engineer But yeah, I choose not to serve because I don't believe that violence is a legitimate answer -----------------------
