Beyond my philosophy with paintball, Raigen, do you understand that some of our members are not on the best of terms?

For example, how fast do you think shit would happen between a certain "someone" and I if we ever met??? A few short bus comments and we would probably be at each other's throats. At least that would be worst case scenario. Best case is a few ugly glares at each other.

I like the idea, hell, I even thought of it at one time myself (kept it to myself). Though the main problem that keeps on coming up is parent consent. Yes, by the time something like this goes down I would be 18, but other members wont. Plus, at 18 I'm still not going to be doing very well off when it comes to money. I have two years of tech school to complete from that age until I would have an actual career (most likely longer than that). This would be the same for most others.

Back to my original point, there would have to be ground rules of some type. You can't have a certain group of people calling another group of people noobs all day expecting for things to go down well. Even if such rules were formed, I wouldn't show up unless a good amount of the Navy folk were there. Which since the higher ups are mostly in the their upper teens now, would be in the same boat I would be when it comes to money.

Base line, it isn't very realistic to do this, but it is possible.


Note I didn't use any names.  I did this out of the respect for the peace.  I would hope the 'mentioned' would respect it as well for not me but the other members.

Really though...There's a bunch of people I think I'd enjoy to meet...And about the same amount I'd care less about meeting. It'd be cool, yes, but like many people have said, it seems pretty unrealistic for most members. I've got two years to go till university (maybe 3) and I need most of the money I can get. I have a roadtrip planned for either this winter or next summer though, maybe I'll stop by and say howdy to anyone who happens to be on the route (Garet maybe? Shaz, Jaden?) But yeah, money and parental stuff is the biggest thing. Hell, for those of us without passports on this side of the border, that's a 8 hour wait in the passport office just to apply.
