when new recruits come in, you either somehow make the NPC go away, ie:killed, transferred, or you don't get the new recruit, assuming there's no other open spots in the squadron.

But yes, Will is right, when an NPC is in the squdron and we are given someone new, the NPc is either killed or transferred or calls in sick. Whichever works at the time.

I still would like to see reports from Dar and whoever else hasn't sent me one this week. Thanks to Raigen and Chak for sending them in promptly, its things like that that I like to see.

The story will be moved along when I post, which should be about an hour from now, assuming things go as planned, maybe longer if I have to stop for supper. Point - We will be ready to move along tonight.

Hi everyone. I have recently completed the basic training and have been assigned to Nazgul squadron. I look forward to getting to know all of you (I believe I have already met a couple of you).

A question concerning the current story...or more in regards to my position in the squadron. Judging from the roster I'm assuming I will be assigned as Nazgul 4? Not entirely sure, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just so everyone knows, I want at least 2 more posts on the story before I move it along again. The latest it wil be moved is Tuesday night (assuming I don't get caught up with homework or something like that) but if there are enough posts by tomorrow (and decent posts at that, lets get a little detail going, hmm?) I'll move it along.

I know that the rising action can sometimes be not that 'action-y', so I want to move us to the actual flying part and closer to the good stuff in the story. The rising action is there for Character devlopment, so lets get some of that done, hmm? I want to see some thoughts, lets dive a bit deeper into our characters minds and actions. Lets see a bit of emotion and some wonderful effort. A good post doesn't nessicarily have to be long, but it should be descriptive and give us a good idea of how your character is taking the different situations. Does the whole idea of hyperspace travel bore him/her to peices, or are they the type who just love to be on the move?

I know that at times CD can be difficult..I know that I had trouble with it. Heck, I still do at times. I want to see a bit more work put into that as well. Describe yoru emotions, thoughts, feelings, whatever.

Ok, pep talk done. Lets see some more reports and posts.

Alright everybody, lets see a little bit of activity. I'm thinking about sending out an AWOL check, and I'd like to see some posts on the story. They don't need to be long, but I'd like to continue progessing it ^_^.

If I could also draw your attention to the VEN News Topic, Shazam is wanting us to update our character profiles, and is offering a reward of 15,000 ICs. To help provide a little bit more motivation, I will throw in a reward of my own as well. I'm not sure what it will be yet, maybe I'll take requests for moderatly priced items if you'll get your profile updated.

Also, I've got reports from Chak and Chip and Tomas. Who else plans to send one in?
