Chak is a hard person to talk to if you don't know him well. He is a quick thinker even though his previous training in the Imperial navy on Coruscant's moon taught him differently. Regardless he will go into any situation with no planning if necessary. The sight of enemy ship's spikes his temper and he will fly with more or less no thought just instinct.

___________Life before Imperial navy__________

Chak was the eldest of the Fel families two sons him and Jag. His father was an Imperial Baron and before retiring he was a TIE fighter pilot. When Chak was growing up his father would tell him how free he felt when he used to fly. Chak hearing these stories always dreamed of becoming a TIE pilot with a nimble fighter bringing peace to the galaxy. His younger brother didn't care less about anything in this world expect his family. This actually deterred Chak a bit because when he was dreaming of becoming a pilot he always imagined Jag as his wing-man.

But every time Chak tried to persuade him Jag would get in a mood and wouldn't talk to him for a while. This put Chak on the brink of forgetting about the freedom of the skies as his brother grew more and more mad every time he or his father mentioned the navy. With the battle of Endor Chak still not old enough to enlist put his perspectives in place.

"Why do you have to go and fight in someone else's war Chak?" Jag asked with tears running down his face. As brothers they'd always been close and never spent more than a week apart.

"To make a difference" Chak replied, "You know that the Empire has provided peace to Coruscant and countless others planets for years, and the rebellion is threatening that."

Jag walked away and Chak boarded the ramp to send him to the navy training camp on one of Coruscant's moons.

The rebellion had found it's way to Coruscant and Chak being one of the best in the Coruscant navy was in the last wave that the empire was hoping they wouldn't have to use. Chak's squadron using up all there torpedoes in an assault on a cruiser were dogfighting. When Chak lost his wing man he started to concentrate on the cruisers and gunboats on his own. 10 standard minutes before the battle above Coruscant was over Chak's wing was clipped and he evaced just in time.

When the battle was over the 'New Republic' looking for any surviving pilot's found Chak, and they took him aboard one of the ships. When Jag was on board he killed one of his guards and was transferred to a NRI base for safekeeping...

Chak was sentenced to Kessel for his crime. But Jag Fel a recruit in the Vast Empire army discovered this and ambushed the YT-1400 that was covertly transporting him. They narrowly escaped and when they reached the Tadath system Jag had filled him in on the VE. Chak decided to re-join the navy but this time the NR wouldn't shoot him down...
