I am finished, for the time being.
If you look at the roster, you will notice a few changes. The biggest, we have opened a second Task Force, led by our very own Ensign (yes, he's been promoted finally) Slasher. Congratulations to him, he's more than deserved it.
Another promotion of sorts, Master Chief Petty Officer Ruwe has been given command of the Squadron under Slasher's vessel. I am anxious to see what he can do.
In light of this new change, some of you have been moved around to get the second Task Force opened. Check the roster and see what you need to do.
Once again, Congrats to Ruwe and Slasher on their promotions. Naval High Command

Gentlebeings of 2nd Fleet, it is my pleasure to announce a change of plans, and it will be yours to wonder and be irritated with me because of it.
Regents: Get with your squadron commander ASAP. He has your orders and will be starting your assigned mission soon. It will be VERY fast paced, but I have the utmost confidence in your ability to carry it out successfully.
All other 2nd Fleet units: You are to spend the remainder of this week continuing your current CD work. I'd like to see some cooperative planning and some small scale engagements, as well as some quality CD regarding your crews/squadronmates and repairs in the aftermath of the Battle of Epsilon. Gear up for heavier action to come. I leave the choice up to you- within bounds of any orders given by your TF commanders, that is. The writer with the best work (quantity and quality) at the end of this week will receive a 15,000 IC bonus from me.
I know a lot of you are chomping at the bit to get into some heavy combat. Rest assured that it's coming. For now, a few more days of patience are required. The new format of the Navy allows us to create missions unlike anything we've ever seen before- but it also introduces new levels of organization to be mastered. Do me proud this week and in the next few months I think you'll find that the missions we run will be some of the best we've ever had the pleasure to write.
So with anticipation of that, and the hints I've dangled, I'll leave you to wonder what is to come. (Oh, and expect me to pop in and out of your CD stories...especially if anyone gets in the mood for a barfight. You can't have one of those without inviting the Chief of Naval Warfare.)

So exciting! Way to tantalize! I really should stop hanging around 2nd Fleet's thread. But I'll use this opportunity to say: the Atrus is unofficially going up against you guys in friendly competition, even if I have to write the whole 19km ship myself.
