As of right now: we outgun them! Thus, we should manage to win. However, the Medium Transport is pretty wounded and its weapon's systems are offline, so the only way to use it as a weapon would be to self-destruct or ram, and I'm lookin at the latter for taking out the Corellian Corvette. Now, I give you these links so you can compare sizes, hull strength, speed, shield energy as the amount of guns. It should make it fairly obvious which ships are bigger, faster and deadlier. If you have any questions, comments or concerns... Just keep them to yourself.

I'm going to put you underneath Darius as Nazgul Six and slide Zurth to Nazgul Seven. Why? I feel that Darius will probably need temporary assistance in getting his work done while he's completing his Cross Country season and that you've already established a good working relationship with Zurth so why fight it?
Your assignment is to create an NPC or two for Chapter Nine and also to help us come up with ideas for what we can do in the two week or so span that we have to wait. Any suggestions are more than welcome-
Also- everyone has someone to report to now, yes? So let's see some reports, yes?  Please send them to your Flight Leaders- don't worry about your SC or XO for now. As long as you get a report to your flight lead, you should be fine because they'll report that to us in thier report! Its kind of a sick circle...
So: thoughts on a story? I'd rather not go in and do some kind of simulator cause it can be kind of boring, but I suppose this doesn't have to be the most exciting period of our Naval Careers. Never the less, some character development about how we're temporarilly combined, or perhaps an in-story reason for why Aegis might be temporarilly shut down would be good to start with. Either way, I'd like to have something up by tonight (Tuesday night). Anywho- shoot 'em out.
Also, I'd like to see everyone getting on the #Nazgul room in IRC so that we can actually communicate and you guys can get better aquainted- sound good?
So review- reports, IRC, story ideas and an NPC. Keep rockin folks. -----------------------

New story will be up by tomarrow morning, so if you have any ideas or suggestions or things you would like to include, nows the time to mention 'em.
Also, even if neither Tokijin nor Trevor have posted on the story by the beginning of our next one, they will still have to make those posts to finish it out. Think of it as a mix between punishment and responsibility- we just need to get this story finished up and I need to see that my two original Nazgul members can still write and lead the way. Also, its hard to reward people who haven't done work worthy of such commendations, so show me you're worth it.
Also- lets get those NPCs up within the next day or two, perhaps upon your first post. If it doens't look like anyone's going to get to work on that NPC in your Flight- get to work on it and let them know they owe you one. That's about all I got on me for now, but lets get talkin to one another- I really think that's important. Also, its our policy in Nazgul Squadron that you need not send in a report if you've posted on the story at least three times during the week and made a post on this thread as well as seen some time in the IRC channel and our room on #Nazgul. If not- we expect reports to flight leads on Fridays, and FLs need to send their reports by Satursday night or early Sunday morning so that the SC and XO can make thier reports. Keep rockin.

Edit: The story is up and people can begin posting immedietly. If there is any confusion whatsoever, I'm sorry but its part of how I don't want to explain every single aspect of the story in a post. However, I'd be more than happy to explain it in person on IRC so you can have a thorough understanding.
What you do need to know is that Aegis has been sent to the strike-cruiser to unite with Nazgul because of thier recent consolidation. The Nazguls, all escept Shazam and Jen, came two days before this post- they've been repairing ships and getting things adjusted so that they're ready for the next mission. However, Shazam has gone off and dropped Jen, his former XO who had some significant brain damage, off on a ship that might as well be a medical frigate. After doing that, he decides to cut through enemy space to cut off a couple of days travel, but there's no one in the area that could possibly track him, so everyting is okay.
However, the captain of this ship, much to the surprise of Shazam, is a young lady he once had a one night stand with back at the Academy. Now, don't use Shazam as an example of the best student or best commander, cause he's not, but understand he's changed a bit and realizes its probably not the best idea to go around doing that anymore- now he's looking for more serious relationships and the like, but his best bet, Jen Knight, is pretty much brain dead so he's out of luck. However, this captain on the strike-cruiser hasn't forgotten how he pretty much abandoned her after that night and has some pretty bitter resentment for him and is going to do everything in her power to make his life a living hell. She won't really have the opportunity though cause I'm going to kill her off almost immedietly-
Note that I used a strike-class cruiser, the same type of ship our very own Arturus will be commanding very shortly. I'd like to use this story as a way to get his character into that position to have a ship and get some experience-
Very basically, two corellian gunships are going to show up with a Corellian CC-7700, which is the equivolent to an interdictor cruiser in our Navy. Very basically, the ship keeps you from escaping by use of 'gravity well projectors'- thus we aren't going to be able to run. However, this is going to make Shazam look guilty because they'll claim he dragged them here, but if the commander of the ship gets killed and Art takes over and leads to victory- that's going to look very good for him.
So lets set some stories up for you guys: help us out here- where can you operate? Either way everyone needs to make an intro post and ask if you have any questions- this is going to be a really, really quick story so lets get goin and make sure we understand what's goin on.

Um, hi guys. Can I come back? Football is ending and it seems my schedule is about to open up BIG time. Winter for me is basically a sit on the couch and do nothing ordeal. I would like to apologize for my absence. I just had many things going and this became obsolete on my agenda. But now I want to be back and contributing to the story. (Even if I have the shortest posts in the VE  )
I would never leave you guys forever. NEVER. You guys are like a second family to me and I could never forget you. Your my friends and you don't criticize me for my shortcomings. (Except for the fact that I put things bluntly. *cough*TrevorandToki*cough*)

My computer is crashing, but I'm running in safe mode, just to get to you guys. Well, Shazam will be on leave until tuesday or wednesday, due to some RL problems. I'm speaking with him on the phone right now, so he's given me all the directives to keep this squadron in order while he is away.
Everyone attempt to get 2 story posts in this week, and all flights, attempt to make your own individual stories within the story and report here on what that is by wednesday.
This story needs to be completed fairly quickly, so lets get things moving.
Everyone that is within your own flight, make sure to write up your NPC characters so that we can fill the roster before the battle part of the story starts.

Sorry bout the no post.
Had a drill meet on saturday and we ended up getting 117 on regulation out of 200 and 38 out of 100 on inspection...so....yeah...bad news bears for my drill team. -----------------------

Anywho- posted on the story and I'd just like to say that we need it done within this next week so- lets do that. No need to be bashful now: just go to it. You can use your own ships if you must but I don't want this to be a ship battle necessarilly- I want fighters out there... I'm going to grab Page, and maybe I'll call the Seroster into battle if I want the droids to have a significant role- or Art could do that. I plan to post tomorrow. I`ve had a lack of activity this week due to studying for an important math test (let just say i didn`t do very well so fr on this unit and I really could not afford to bomb the test) and I`ve been building another racecar when i wasn`t studying. I`ll try and get stuff coordinated with Toki later today and get a post in tomorrow for sure (seeing as I have the day off :P) -----------------------
