As Ibram said we're currently in a hot situation trying to "rescue"/kill some poor miners so you might need to wait until we've ended this act before you can be introduced.

As Anden and Sicario indicated we should have some post from them soon and I'll finish up the act and we'll be set for the final act from our SC.

Ok in addition I've just sent you a synopsis Gunnay and for the benefit of anyone else here is the story so far and where it will be going to the end of act II:

We've been assigned to the Eastern Terrortories which is an area of space just outside of Vast Empire controlled space. No-one has a clear reign over the region so the VE is looking to make gains in the area.

Viper has been sent there to monitor the activity of local militia and pirates. Prior to our depatruture our squadron commander Ibram Tyrol was contacted by VENI and informed that they would be in command of Viper's role whilst out on mission. They assigned Lt. Grey to oversee our action and ensure we tow the line hence the story's title - Shades of Grey.

Our first action was a routine patrol but we were ambused by a group of Z-95 Headhunters. The communication channels were jammed so we were unable to find out who they're were and told by Grey to wipe them out. Not everyone in the squadron was in favour of this and Cadie 'Tinker' Reece wanted to atleast try and disable them. Ibram, however, made it clear we must terminate all of them which we did.

There were also three transports in the area which we had to eleminate - no-one thought this was a moral thing to do and when Arthur Romanflame tried to disable one of their engines he sent the craft colliding into another transport causing them to both be destroyed. Whilst this happened Ibram received a distress signal from one of the transports which indicated they're were surrendering. Only he and I heard the communication - the rest of the squadron have been left in the dark though they have their suspicision.

After the mission, Cadie confronted Ibram about the action out in space but he was unable to give a straight answer and our returning nutcase Rutian made himself known that due to his Special Forces rank he was also making sure Ibram and the rest followed orders to the letter no matter what they're required to do.

The rest of the squadron are suffering from low morale and we're currently based on Badajoz Station which is a small space station in the Epsilon system.

Our next mission briefing on surface seemed to be a straightforward escort and rescue mission on a local mining colony. We would have to board the mining convoy of transports and take over them to rendezvouz with Grey who wanted to question the miner's about pirate activity in the area. It's seems strange that such a request requires such amount of force.

We've just made contact with the convoy of A-A5 transports. My wing was tasked with boarding operation. I've just crashed a xg-1 assault-gun boat after my co-pilot boarded the lead transport. She, in cold blood, killed several of the miners in order to prevent them from resisting our "rescue".

The rest of the squadron in TIE are dealing with the modified transports turbo-laser turrets and will soon be tangled up in more Headhunters as the transport radio'd for help. Our fighters will not be able to indentify them as the mining colony's local militia and Grey has given us intelligence to believe they are in fact pirates. We will dispatch with them mercilessly and make our way to rendezvous point suffering some casualities of our own.

After this will shall return "home" to Badajoz spacestation, fatigued and morally unsure about what we've just been part of.

Ibram is setting up the final part of the arc - so more to follow.

Three weeks even seems a bit much to me. No reason we all can't kick it into gear and make this one hell of a finale.

That looks pimpin, Ibram.  I like it, but my opinion weighs little here...

I experimented with both, i didn't really like how it looked with gold, although I could put it up anyway.

I havent had a chance to check up on the story, but I was wondering if I had been introduced into it yet. If someone would let me know when that happens Ill start posting :-p
