as fun as it is, we dont get to decide arbitraily to kill someone. now, go thru the acadamy, get some campaigns under your belt, and show your stuff, and maybe THEN they'll let you kill someone. hell, it might even be me. Till then, there are rules and a heirachy we ALL must follow.

Gshlecc - I'll kindly ask you to stay out of this one. Remember that you represent Nazgul and I don't want people to be thinking that the group of us are joking about this.

Thorlax - You seem to be at a misunderstanding here. While we are a roleplay club, and we do encourage writers to be creative, you also have to consider the aspect that the squadron leaders (and in this case, some of the Navy High Council) spend quite a bit of time coming up with specific story lines for the works that we write. While minor deviations from these story lines are permissible, most of the time the plot twists are left up to those in charge, seeing as for the most part they know exactly where the story is supposed to go.

On that same note, it's generally an unwritten rule (or perhaps even a written one) that your character is your character, and my character is my character. While you may use my character in your posts, if you can stick to my character's personality, you are not given any permission to kill my character off. I don't know about you, but when I put a few years worth of my time and effort into developing an ever changing character, I don't like to see it all wiped away in the blink of an eye by someone without my permission. However, that's not to say we don't kill people off here, it used to be the practice to kill off people who went AWOL, although that trend has changed more or less to just writing them out of the story.

As for Mara being discriminated against, I don't feel this is the case at all. She blindly jumped into a story that hs been coming together over the course of three weeks, I believe, and killed off one of the characters. She had not gone through basic training, was not a member of any squadron, and basically ignored the standards we have set in place. We're all about having fun here, but that doesn't mean you don't have to play by the rules.

EDIT: I know exactly who the posters are, and they are both pricks.

This is a RL matter, everyone else can just drop it.

Regardless, it is not our policy to allow members from outside your squadron to post on your story threads without proper authorization- they will be deleted if ever they resurface.

Furthermore- I'll just ask everyone to ignore any comments by these extraneous members.  Do not refer to their posts, do not speak directly to them- ignore them entirely, as if they do not exist.  Whenever they post: they will be deleted.  Is this unfair?  No- they have no business posting here and I further that point by underlining the fact that their own goals have been to induce strife, so far as can be seen.

If either Mara or the other guy wanna join- they can: but they'll go through the training process.  If not: I don't wanna hear another thing about 'em from anybody on any thread- they no longer exist unless you make them exist.  If they want to be seen: they won't be seen.  If they want to be heard- they won't be heard.  This is not a democracy. *Scratch*

Hey Guys,

I was just chatting with Tomas, and we were thinking that from now on, any sub-plots/main plot ideas that you may want to do should get posted up here first, so as to avoid confusion in the main story.

For example, some people may or may not know that Anden and Sicario are planning to escape the planet via their own means, so theres no need to go looking for them. (I don't mean to single you out Zane, i just needed this for an example.)

So, from now one, any subplots like that, please let us know so we can accommodate them into our own writing.

Think I might peruse your story   Also, if you wanna continue to help the Navy out: keep showin up to meetings and turning in those reports- you really help your commanders and the administration figure out where we need to improve by sending in reports, even about the little inconveniences.  Also- if you're lookin for an easy way to help us retain recruits: say "Hi" to 'em on their welcome threads- it's much appreciated by both the staff and the recruits when they realize they're not just hangin' out in a cave- other people exist after all!  Who knew!  Otherwise- just keep rockin, Vipers: I'm really happy with the way you've handled yourselves.
