General Thrawns army is comprised of Imperial weapons and tactics. The question you should be asking is what makes an Imperial? Is it the armour? because they have the armour, the tactics, most everything. But he is not the VE and therefore must join the rest of the poodoo we clean.

I've been assuming the facility itself is underground, beneath the rest of it, and i'm assuming the hangers in both maps are one and the same.

well, there's Kairo's map, only the Hanger has now been explodicated, and Wraiths, in an effort to make the plan we devised according to the original map work with the new map have written in sub-surface passages, we've assumed that these are tunnels through snow not dissimilar to echo base since a planet of this type would have ages worth of snow cover and ice, if that didn't even turn out to be the entire composition of the planet. Well, that's just what we've got.

Phase Two- Utilizing Kairo's/Darr's Map

Dark Dragoons

Objective One: Take down the facilities main gate
Objective Two: Engage deployed ground forces inside

Raiders:

Objective One: Gain entry to the facility
Objective Two: Enter and neutralize enemy forces within the barracks

Wraith:

Objective One: Gain access to the command center
Objective Two: Locate and capture Vaynus and Fro-Ja

Eclipse:

Objective One: Disrupt enemy communication by destroying the facilities comm. tower
Objective Two: Aid the Dragoons and Raiders in holding enemy forces at bay

Notes:

Nightstalkers have not been included since they've failed to post. Just assume that they are still dealing with perimeter defenses for the time being

My post (on A Gift for Thrawn) details that Vaynus has ordered tie units to sweep the planet in an attempt to locate our shuttles and only means of escape from Illum. Because of this, we only have a very limited time in which to capture Fro-Ja and Vaynus and return to the shuttles

Wraith squad are the only ones that will physically deal with Fro-Ja and Vaynus. The other squads must hold off the remaining forces inside the facility so Wraith can achieve their objective. This is predominantly in place to prevent plot confusion.

Once Wraith have captured Fro-Ja and Vaynus (take your time so we can have HSC for a little longer), VE forces will retreat back to the shuttles which will have relocated closer to the facility by that time. It will then be a rush to hyperspace before Vaynus's ties and Star Destroyer blow us out of the sky
