Some of you remember well the Holiday Squad Competitions that we used to hold every year, well this year we're doing it again. Your Squad Leaders met with Kami, Kairo, and myself, and we got some great stuff planned for you, and not just in writing. At any rate, check out the official outline:
HOLIDAY SQUAD COMPETITION 3.06
Storyline Posts: 40%
Multiplayer Games: 30%
Graphical Entries: 20%
Miscellaneous: 10%
The competition is broken down into four seperate categories as you can see above. The scores are awarded BY SQUAD, which means that you have to work TOGETHER if you want to win. Granted, there will be individual awards to give out. I want you to focus on the big squad award however, not the individual awards. Periodic updates of the score between each squad will be given from time to time. At any rate, let's talk about how you can earn points in this competition.
Storyline Posts:I think it would be obvious how you're going to earn points here. Without revealing too much of the system, your score here will be at the most: 40. How much you recieve will be based on the total number of posts you have compared to the entity with the most posts. It's simple enough: post to get points!
MultiPlayer Games:This one's another easy one to figure out. You will play multiplayer games (Platform Only, no Candystand) and register them with the battleboard. When you play the game, be sure and get a screenshot and sent it to Rizzit Kami and Kairo. We will tally them up. Now...the entity with the most wins gets the full amount, and the others will get a score based on their performance of Wins and Losses. The total number of points you can earn here is 30.
Graphical Entries:This one gets tricky. You are to submit Holiday-Themed entries for the competition. Maybe like a stormtrooper dressed as santa or an imperial menorah (sorry if I spelled that wrong) or just something holiday-ish. If you'd like to take a mental picture you had while reading the story and make that into a picture: that works too. Now, I don't care if you want to submit something from Photoshop, Paint, or whatever else it is you use. I'm looking for quality, yes: but I'm also looking for effort. There will be personal awards for this category on top of the regular competition score to be awarded: so why miss out? Submissions should be sent to the three of us just like the games. Total Points Earned: 20.
Miscellaneous: I'm sure you are all wondering what I'm going to reward you on for miscellaneous. Well, you'd be right to wonder, cause it's just that. This will be a score based on a few things: the squad's performance as a whole, any recruits you manage to bring in, fair play and sportsmanship, and so on. It is a small score, but it can make the difference in the end...so make sure you can get as much of the 10 points as you can.
The competition begins NOW! All of the above that are listed will count as entries. Kami and Kairo have the final edit of the story and will be posting it shortly, but in the meantime you have the gaming and graphics to compete against. Once the story is ready, you are free to begin posting on it. I don't want to spoil any of the surprises in store for you, so just know that it's going to be fun! Good Luck!

well I think CSS should be considered a game even though it has absolutely nothing to contribute to star wars, just for the fact that it is an extremely popular game, I wish I knew how to make skins I would make some SW skins. -----------------------

There is now a small back story on the STC storyboard. There may be more added at a later time, but the topic is locked, so don't be surprised if you can't post on it. The main story that the squads will post on will be up at a later time. -----------------------

Though you would most likely win at the first and last, since I haven't really played them since I bought them. But heck, the more points for people the better. I don't think you can blay Battlefront for PS2 against someone who has it for PC (Though that would be incredibly awesome :P), but you can play from PS2 to PS2 over the internet; though I haven't set it up yet.
