They made DOOM with live action. I thought it was a good flick if you just wanted to sit back and waste some time watching things explode.
They're making the new Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles movie in CG, so we'll see how that goes. -----------------------

Hashi I understand your distaste on Hollywood's new movies and I feel the same, I also go see movies because they are good for friends and dates when you cant use the house, Quentin Tarantino is a pretty good director; excluding Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction was a masterpiece (in my opinion) and would be good material for an English class. -----------------------

They may have made doom in live-action, but doom's characters arent as established as Halo's - Characters such as John-117 (The Master Chief), Sergeant Johnson, Commander Miranda Keys, etc.
These characters wouldn't look the same, or sound the same. It just wouldn't be right. They could have achieved so much visually in CG as well. -----------------------

Darr, the voices will be the same, I can almost guarantee that. (At least for Master Chief). And I can guarantee that Srg. Johnson will be exactly the same. He's modeled after the voice actor. I think Miranda Keyes is also. -----------------------

In these novels it tells you alot of stuff, like MC's real name, the spartan project, the importance or reach, how sergeant johnson survived the flood, etc.

So I just got back from seeing Snakes on a Plane. I have to say, popular to common belief, it's a really good movie. SLJ doesn't disappoint, and while the dialogue isn't grade A, it still makes for a good laugh.
