Im a big fan of guitar virtuoso, Joe Pass.
I also listen to a lot of Django Reinhardt and also some Coltrane and Charlie Parker.

Not an enthusiast, but I do like Jazz. The only real band I can say I like (and listen to) is The Seatbelts. They do the stuff for "Cowboy Bebop" and they have an album of their own. Not bad. -----------------------

I must agree with Garet on the Seatbelts- there is some excellent stuff from the Bebop tracks. I'm not much in the way of Jazz guitarist, but I've been seriously looking for some good ones- list me some names, man. And I'm not sure what we call Since I've Been Lovin You- but I learned it
Interestingly enough, lol, at our "Jazz Band" concert for my high school, my teacher just kind of said- "Hey, lets do some Stairway..." I got to do the full solo and everything, man- standing ovation. Besides the sight of about fifty people bing taken out in body bags from the front row back, it was awe-inspiring, lol. I highly suggest playing something you play religiously in front of a large crowd. Rock On. -----------------------

Sometimes I have a need to prove my point; you've made yours quite clear, but quite frankly, I'm apathetic towards your remark. I don't care what you say about me, but have a little honor please.
And, really, what IS alternative rap? Regular rap is bad enough...

Well you know dude, when we were talkin back in the day about making a Nazgul Theme song- why not do it Jazz, man? I mean, look at Cowboy Bebop? That very sound instills the fight sequences- makes it cool. Or we could stick to a rip off of Stairway, lol- either way, when you come back, we should really jump on that. Don't think we'd need words necessarilly, but a little jam session wouldn't be so bad. Btw- do you jam acoustic or electric blues and jazz? Acoustic and electirc seem appropriate for blues, but jazz seems to be souly cooperative with the electric to me- can't say I've ever heard Jazz with an acoustic. Or do any of those dudes you mentioned specify in that? Lol- I'm learning My main export is metal-mania riffs I perfect from watching VH1 into the late hours, or Led Zeppelin based melodies... I suppose I'm morphing them into one... Tis why I need a Fender or some other guitar than the Johnson Keep Rockin. -----------------------

Hah, yes.
Actually Joe Pass does a good deal of acoustic and electric all guitar jazz jams. Benson is more of a smoove jazz electric guitarist guy. Its really up to you. But playing jazz with a warm tone on a fender strat is what i like best.

Dude- I listened to Pass's (btw- is it Pace or Pass in pronunciation?) "Virtuoso", and I could not stop playing guitar, lol. Kind of like after I watched "How the West Was Won..." My goodness But yea, I'll have to investigate those other guys then. Amazon is great for lookin that stuff up and getting samples- that sounded mainly acoustic, btw, so you're right there. Mind you, I only played four hours because afterwords I had the idea to start using my acoustic- cut down on my fingers pretty good.
