Templar is the son of a slightly legandary pilot, who died at the battle of Endor defending the death star. Templar as a young kid was a speedor pilot and a swoop bike racer on the outer rim planet Mycogen. Realising that his reflexes were sharp(has nothing to do with the force or mitochlorians),he decided to join the Impirial Navy and avenge his father. Templar applied and was accepted into the navy as soon as he was old enough to apply. After making the cut, Templar went to the Naval Acadamy, were he graduated from the Acadamy and was placed in Aegis Squadron as a Leading crewman.

A lanky frame, he is closer to his dad in build than his mother, who was short and plump.
Templar has a reasonably good temper, as long as you dont talk about his mother or anything like that. He also is prone to getting frusterated somewhat when he is not, after a large of amount effort, able to reach his goal. Templar has extensive knowledge with the numerous forms of martial arts due to his fascination with alien cultures. He is also a very quick shot, due to his sharp reflexes as a swoop bike racer. Templar has had some freinds, but they are all either across the galxy serving the empire, or have already died fighting the rebels (which is yet anohter reason why Templar hates the rebels so much). Templar is not so much a tactition as he is a fighter. Although he can be quite strategic when under pressure, he would much rather prefer to be fighting alongside his men and brothers(or sisters)under someone else's command then leading a legion of men by humself. A squad or troop is fine though.
Templar is very uncomfertable around large crods, and gets embarrassed easily, very easily. He has a severe case of social anxiety. As a result of this also gets angry very easily. Negative emotians often cause his temper to flare up ,getting him in trouble numerous times.
Even though he is jumpy and uncomfortable around groups of people. He is twice as uncomfortable around the final frontier...women. Ever since experiencing a number of bad memories with women, he has had a hard time communicating with them. He gets visably nervous and will profuse greatly.
Finaly templar is good at keeping cool under pressure. As I noted earlier he will get annoyed when no matter how hard he tries he cannot acomplish a goal. But he will not break down in tears or anger, and he will not jump ship either, he is very dependable especialy when the odds are stacked against him, a necessity when speeder bike racing.
