Pittsburgh won by 11... I doubt the refs could've done anything to stop that.

As much as I would've like to see my hometown boy (Hasselbeck) win it, Steelers just played better.

There were calls on both sides that disrupted plays, Jak. Your team isn't the only one to get the short end of the stick during the game. It may have looked like that to you because you wanted them to succeed, or because timing was crucial, but they were fair.

Although, events that had changed earlier could've changed the rest of the game... But I do agree with you, the ball never did go across (until he was on the ground, that is).

First off, I'd like to congratulate the Steelers, no team deserved to win the Super Bowl less than they did. They set one of the most important records ever...no, not Willie Parker's run...no not Randle El's TD pass to Hines Ward.... they were the Super Bowl winners with the worst QB rating.

Their team "scored" more points than their QB managed to earn for himself.

"Big Ben was" a "Big Joke" in the game. The Hawk's defense let three plays slip, and that was it. The Steelers should consider signing Randle El as their new QB, at least he can throw the ball.

The Steeler's D gave up more big plays. Their vaunted defense gave up 95 yards rushing to Shaun Alexander. They gave up almost 400 yards in total Offense to the hawks. But they had their own 12th man in this game...in white and black.

Pregame, the refs swapped their penalty flags with Terrible Towels (which were sold at the stadium...neutral site my ass). On Darrel Jackson's "penalty" (omfg he touched the D-back...but we'll just forget that the d-back grabbed his arm) the ref first pulled out the terrible towel, then his betting slip on the game, then a Jerome Bettis rookie card...which the bus autographed in the next series.

Garret. It's simple math. Seahawks lost 4 points on the D-jack BS. They lost 7 on the BS locklear hold. (I guess linemen should just let people through untouched now). That = 11 points. What was the score? 21-10. Take away Roethlesberger's phantom touchdown, (Cowher is a coward and would have gone for the field goal and the tie) and you have your game. 21-17 Seattle.

Every national sports journalist in the country, even "Cold Pizza"s resident douche Skip Bayless, who said the Seahawks didn't deserve to be in the Super Bowl (depsite having the NFL MVP, #1 NFL Offense and NFC starting Pro-Bowl QB,FB,RB,LT,LT) agrees:

The Seahawks were robbed.

The NFL wanted its dream story, and the ref's made sure they got it.
