1. You must still have a cold and yes, I've seen both acronyms fly around. Since acronyms, by definition, are a breakdown of the main components, using GB for Galactic Battlegrounds makes a whole lot of sense, doesn't it?
2. He said no cartoony smilies once. I backed him up on it just to clarify. In an actual military you'd be peeling potatoes with lash marks on your back. Drop it. -----------------------

Look, your teacher is likely correct, but that is not the commonly accepted usage, so just DROP IT!
The world does not always work the way you want it to so:
a. Stop bugging us about it as we have accepted the common use of GB
b. Stop bugging your poor teacher who is trying to pass on something you can actually use in the real world. Trust me, I've been a teacher and it is hard enough without getting strangely vectored questions by know-it-all kids who should sit and listen more than most of the other students.

My report once again is short and sweet. I have been on IRC, AIM, and posted on the ComNet. I also started a VE simming channel, which hasn't been too much of a success. I talked to Japer about Platoon activity and also about things we can do to bring that up.
Finally, I came up with a new idea for my reports. I will write a journal each day like I am out in the field or sitting in the barracks hanging with my Squadmates and let you know what I do. If you would prefer I not do this, let me know.
