Just received this letter from MAGGIO:

Let me tell you something you ass. I have some of the most experienced
players in the game on my team. Not only that I could snap my fingers
and have 50-100 states wiping your whole nation out with in 24 hours.

I tried to play meger and small, but what you have aloud your states to
do is unacceptable.

Most of your guys dont even know that you ahve to declare war on a
nation to be at war with a nation.

You cant kill states wil regular attacks you must use a combination of
specialized attacks.

I have killed your top state, and I have kill the top offending state whom
attacked my nation several times.

Now I am going to have you killed as well for not punishing your
members. I am holding you responsible as any other nation leader would
for the actions of your members.

You failed to comply, you offered no punishment for you members actions
against my states.

This is why you will fall.

I will make one final deal with you and you better accept it.

IF no VE states attack FU states for the rest of the set, i will not kill any
other state accept yours. If i see one attack of any kind, i will be forced
to take out your other two top states, as well as yours (keeping in mind
that we only have limited time left in this set)

You ahve 12hrs to comply.

If you piss me off in anyway or go against what i have instructed you to
do, there will be no VE next set or ever again.

I am not asking you to bow to me, I am forcing you to learn hwo the
game works. you cannot just let you members do what ever they want
with out punishing them. If it wasnt me it would have been another
nation, and trust me when i tell you they would not be as nice. they
would have killed every member of your nation and messeged them to tell
them that it was all your fault, so that they would never follow you again.



So I replied:

1) I have played this game... many times. I started several years ago (on and off) but I do know my own strats, so don't go around waving your arms yelling out that I'm inexperienced, because you're wrong in that department.

2) I have told you this several times before, and it looks like I have to get it to you again because you can't seem to see: we had one-to-two states, specifically one: 'wing nut' that was attacking you. I had already told him to knock it off and that he was already being evaluated for dismissal. So don't tell me I didn't do anything about it because I did, and he was going to be thrown out anyway when you declared war.

3) I know we need to declare war on a nation before we can just start attacking. Wing Nut started his attacks without declaring war. Why? Because he's new to the entire thing. This is his first round. I've already said it to him after the fact to knock it off or he *will* face dismissal.

4) Above all things, this is a game to have fun. I'm not taking it as seriously as you, thinking this is some real life event, and pulling out all of your "Oooh, I'm completely badass because I can click a button and have people that are better than myself do some dirty work". People play at different competative levels, and perhaps one day you will understand that.

5) Last but not least, sportsmanship is incredibly important. When Wing Nut began his offensive, I openly stated twice that you may retaliate with any force you wanted, including killing his state. But no, you had to send me a letter, calling me an 'ass'. Our nation is not incredibly strong, and I realize that, but you also need to realize that there are other people out there, not just 1s and 0s, and you need to show respect. I pity those in this generation that have no other respect than for themselves - some lack that too, unfortunately.

I'm not going to call you an 'ass' because it's considerably low, you insignificant f**k.



(I did not include the asterisks ) It's 2 days until the round ends, so I decided "what the hell". We did good. We built up, gained more experienced, and learned from our mistakes. It only makes us stronger for future rounds. It's been fun playing with y'all.

Well said indeed, and I gave them my answer. I just attacked one of the states in the Farmers Union. #691. Let them chew on THAT for awhile.

All of them are concentrating their attacks on me. :P When I logged on, I had like 10 or so victoriies and some 25 defeats or so. (Just looking off the top of my head - didn't count it).

*sighs* Wing Nut most certainly won't be back next round. He's ranting and raving about how the VE nation is a bunch of morons without spine. I tried to explain he can't run off and play leader like he did, but he blames us. We're friends, but I think the VE is probably better off without him.

Anyone up for killing Farmers Union early in the next set, before they can kill us? Maybe even see if we can get a few other nations to give us a hand...

Dominating would probably be our best bet. We will definatly have to do something about the Farmers Union.  If we build up our forces quickly enough we could take them out in the beginning. Which would be great since that's basically what they threatened to do with us.

I've only played once before, chances are I'll be more of a liability, but , I'll try to go casher and see if i can help out, worse comes to worse my state will be destroyed early on, no big deal, might i suggest taking out the ones that were strongest last time, if their leader wasn't one of them, leave him for last, so he can watch things crumble around him, if the ones that were strong last time are strong in the beginning don't worry about the weak states, if you can take the strong the weak wont be a problem, if the ones that ended strong last time are weak, take them down and the leader and then finish the rest of them off in the late or midd game. but I've got limited experience with this game, so take my advice with salt, or something like that. I'm probably not saying much that you don't already realize anyway.
