Ladies and gentlemen, having settled into campus, I have restarted my world-of-war account. For any who wish to join me and be partners in this FREE game, go to www.world-of-war.com. I've created a nation for the VE, with the password being "ve". edit: nvm, I got help but, chipmunk man, we required another person to join world of war creating another state in our VE nation so that we may start our conquest.

You need to join WoW and create a state before you can join a nation.
Also, a big tip for those who are playing: If you don't like the way your state is going but can still tolerate it in-game, DO NOT delete your state to make a new one. Deleting your state will kick you out of the game until the next round starts (each round is usually 1 month long). -----------------------

I'll join in.  My state is Dathomir (Yes, I do like that star wars planet a little too much), and I've never played before. So, bear with me as I learn.. I already joined the VE nation. A little instruction on what would be best would be helpful from you Chip. I set myself up as more of defence place and spies. I don't know if that will agree with your settings or not, but that is what I normally am when I play a game like this.

Quick tip for those who haven't played before or are looking for a decent strategy: be heavy farmer/commercial. Set your military output to 0% on EVERYTHING. It is extremely cheaper to upgrade your units at level 1 than to upgrade them to level 2, and it also costs more to upgrade with the increased number of units.
Once you get a good sum of profit, then hit heavy industry. -----------------------

Also, I recommend using only 198 turns, then stopping and letting them build up. Once you take your 199th turn, you leave protection and other states can land-grab you. If you build your turns, then you can make yourself stronger when you finnaly do come out of protection. You can have 300 regular turns. After which, you build up to 100 "stored" turns. Wait until you have these ready before taking that 199th turn.
And make use of your bonus turns. Check the "general" menu on the left tool bar for more info. -----------------------

the more residents you have in your state the more tax you collect from them, you can also adjust the tax rate, but every time you increase the rate, you loose some residents. If you're already into industrial and building lots of military units, you get money buy selling them on the markets, also food, and something else but i can't remember. -----------------------

I'm not playing Chip, so i'm answering all these questions from memory.
Kairo, you build factories, i think, and have them work on the units, you can change the setting to how many percetage of each kind of units you want. If i remember correctly, Infantry is the cheapest and the ships are the most expansive. -----------------------
