Anyways, great posting everybody, I just put something down to let you guys know a little bit more about Shazam and Henson so that maybe you'll get some understanding of where I might go with things. Nothin wrong, I'm just saying, the character of Darius seems to be very competitive. You may have started something.

Alright, excellent job up to this point guys. I see Jen is back around, so I'd like to wait for her to post, but she needs sleep apparnetly... Instead, I'll post the Breifing portion of the story, and those who havn't posted can catch up very easilly by saying *Before The Breifing* or whatever. Then they can just move swimingly along with us.
Btw, I think we should maybe do something how we used to do it in the navy. That is, reward those who do well. So, I'm going to say.... Well, after I post the portion 'breifing', it will be a contest to see who can get the most GOOD post in. That's GOOD. That means they have story, character, and they make sense. Mind you, post can be edited, and that is permitable. The victor will receive 50,000 of my ICs. Or would you guys rather receive some kind of object? I dunno, your all getting something for Christmas anyways. Lets keep it goin.
Edit: The Breifing post is up and I'm going to edit it up a little. Not the breifing part, but maybe the outside writing. IT BEGINS!

Question for you guys, are you going to start using the comnet e-mail service rather than actual e-mail? I was going to suggest that.
Also, I will try to get involved in this story in a limited capacity now that a very busy time has passed but don't count on regular posts. In addition to my course overload I have political work, I curl two nights a week, I work two jobs, and am involved in a politics simulation (yes I like trying to cram 40 hours of work into a 24 hours day, that's what coffee is for :P). 1) What's the rank and name of the enemy commander?
2) Are we keeping the name "Derkson" as our man being held captive?
3) Who does he work for?
4) Are we keeping him as an Imperial Intelligence officer, or something else?

Jack: 1- I dunno yet. 2 I said that'd be aiight. 3- We agreed upon Seinar Fleet Systems because that would effect the imperial way significantly. 4- No, he's a head engineer, as he agreed upon, I beleive, in the last page.
Saw some of you guys there at the meeting today... GOOD. Japheth mentioned during the meeting," Keep in mind that it is esspecially during the most inactive times that a lot of good activity will stand out and be recognized by myself and the other commanders." So this is kind of the time to shine people. Get in there and post. I still have yet to see post from Tokijin and Jen. Sending in reports by Wednesday or Thursday helps as well.
Not sure if we'll be seeing Gladius, I already sent him a message. I'll try again though. If he doesn't show up in a week, I suppose we'll have to put him AWOL. -----------------------

Alright, just to warn you guys, stay in character. You might be having a good time coming up with ideas, but make sure you arn't changin things. Dj for instance, you speak like Darius is really light and such, maybe he is now, but try to keep his bio in mind. He's kind of a less than modest hardass. And if someone says 'hey, that's not like my character,'... Fix it. Don't be afraid to tell me that either guys. Just be honest. Your doin great, and I gotta say I'm really proud of the posting goin on. I see some good things happenin. Lets keep it goin. -----------------------

Okay, I'm going to add something to the story guys, I didn't tell you about this but you don't need to know anything about it. What is it? I should say, who is he? We are adding someone to the squadron, kind of. He's not going to be on the roster, but he's going to be in our missions as if he a part of the group in the stories. His bio is as follows:

His face seems to have suffered some lassitude but he wears a victorious look.
First Lieutenant (Two Ranks above ESN Shazam)
Formally of the elite squadron Viper, this well known Tie Interceptor pilot went on to become the squadron commander of a group known for they're ammeliorating combat- "Simply awe inspiring..." One man aboard a luxury cruiser ascribed to Dimmias's outstanding flying. The simple sight of the squadron, who's official name was "Decta,' would soothe the thought of death from the minds of the people they protected. However, great as they may have seemed for a six month walk of fame for their bold rescues of public freightors, they were led into a trap by a simulated pirate raid. All but Dimmias managed to jump out. Unfortunetly for the other pilots of Decta squadron, they were tracked and destroyed upon reaching they're squadron's freightor while trying to dock. Warren Dimmias nearly served a similar fate, but was saved by the arrogance of an angry pirate captain. He submitted the now decorated fighter pilot, to days of tortue without any breaks inbetween. A little over a month later, an imperial fighter group was sent out to intercept a pirate raid on a VE supply cruiser. Of course, these fighters were of VEN descent along with the cargo aboard the ship. As the engine's were destroyed in under two minutes, the pirates seemed to think their fates sealed and gave up. Aboard were nearly one hundred and fifty wanted criminals- and to the great surprise of those who searched the ship, ESN Warren Dimmias. The entire group of pirates was executed by a firesquad, excluding the captain who Dimmias shot through the cranial cavity on the opportunity of being allowed to do so.
Upon return to wing HQ, Dimmias was promoted to First Lieutenant and received the Imperial Navy Cross as well as the Legion of Merit. During his dissappearnce, his sister Vemre Dimmias committed suicide. It is suspected this was due to the loss of her older brother who, but there was also some suspision on the part of her father. As soon as Dimmias's wounds were healed, he asked to leave the organization as he felt he'd done his duty. Immedietly there after, he found his way to Lotaith and signed on with the Vast Empire Navy. Since then, he has gone from squadron to squadron, searching for a new home.
He has never received any charges or marks of disconduct.

Now, this character, I alone will control. Do not begin to make him to do anything or perceive him as any time of person. In fact, in this mission, he isn't apart of Nazgul yet, he is only looking to see if he'd like it. So please reguard him as that alone. You make him speak and that is it, no speaking of past experiences or asking personal questions. If you do, then have him not answer them. I will reveal things as we go about this character. I won't tell you if he's perminent or not, but he is going to be an add-on that neither Jen nor I will speak to about much. Just think of him as an extra guy for now. That's all, please try to incorporate him into the story and really obvserve him as I describe him. Really make yourselves characters out of how they react to another person being added to the squadron. Show how they are- this is part of the attempt of adding him in.
This is a lot of character developement, but bear with me. I assure you this is more than you think. Lets keep it goin guys.

Could I have a list of who is in fighters and who is in the shuttle? I know I'm flying an interceptor as is Shaz and Trevor I believe. Darius and DJ are on the shuttle. What about the rest? -----------------------

You heard the man... I'm flyin an interceptor of course. Anyone else flying something other than an interceptor that is still in the TIE class- say so now. I think Jack is using an avenger, btw.
Excellent posting everyone, and I'm glad your all making your characters out to be who they are. That's what I'm looking for. Good post means good characters. In the end, that should lead to an excellent story guys. Plus, I'll tell you theres going to be more to the Nazgul stories than there ever have been before. You heard her, you've got Flights 2 and 3 to look over for the rest of the week Jack. I don't think you'll have a problem with Gladius though, so just collect the reports and bring them to me via MC or e-mail.
I'll be editing my post up a little when I get back from school today, then posting again after whatever you guys have done. Its really lookin good guys, and the activity is astounding.
