Instructions:
1. Save it. Do NOT rename it, and make sure you're saving it as a .gif
2. Click Profile at the top of the ComNet.
3. Look for a category named "Avatar:"
4. In "Avatar:", Find "Upload a New Avatar:"
5. Put the name of your avatar in the first box.
6. Click "Browse" and pick your avatar.
7. Click Upload Profile, at the bottom of the page
8. If you're avatar is not showing the new one, then you have not done this correctly. Also if there are a lot of white lines, you also did not do it correctly.

Yillis, something to keep in mind:
1) I don't suggest putting the avatars on ComNet - email them to the people who have requested them. On FireFox, the default filetype that pops up once I right-click and Save As is .gif, but on IE (the browser that most people use) defaults the filetype to .bmp - in other words, they can't save it.
2) Now, when I try to override the filetype from a .bmp to a .gif, I'm probably going to lose transparencies, but I haven't gone that far to test it because the new .gif filetype exceeds the 12,000 bytes - it is just a little over 13,000 bytes. Be sure you optimize your images before sending them off, and send them off in email.

oh yeah and i heads up: I now in my free time do avatars, but not with a frame, but rather with more natural aspects (pixel by pixel). Sometimes it looks good, som,etimes it doesnt. Im still working on getting better. So if there's noone else that can and I happen to be aropund, you can ask me. -----------------------

what program are you using to make those avatars? If it's Windows Painter, don't bother, It might look perfectly fine, but it'll look horrible once you put it on a web page. I was there once. -----------------------

NVm, its a bit crappy. I was feeling rather...inspired yesternight.
I am trying to create something for my visual dairy. And i had the idea of making a soldier or trooper, trapped in the armour, and people asumes theu are brave and stuff. I dunno. Gonna remake that one, but i love the back ground i made, here is the back ground. -----------------------

You might want to lay off really bright and semi-dark colors with that background, it would be hard to see. (aka light gray and that blackish shadow thinga ma bob...) -----------------------

It WAS green, but i overused the dodge and burn tool, so it kinda went yellew, i then smudged it a bit, but decided to add some white in along with the dodge tool, it came out white in the ned. Most of it. There is a small diference between the first and secondpic, the first one i messed up with the colours and shadows, in the second one i fixed it. -----------------------

Yeah, i copied some hilts from the internet, and looked at it, i tried a few things with them, but i didn;t want to take someone else's work and edit it. Meh. I practising other objects currently, im foccusing on trying to make a LAAT gunbaot...but its a loooooooooonnnngs way to go...
