The ComNet is now enabled with avatar support.  You'll be able to select from a list of avatars or upload your own avatar.  Make sure you read the informational text when uploading your avatar as there are specific constraints for them.

Special thanks goes to Cosmic for creating all the avatar images.  He spent a lot of time working on these to get them ready, so make sure you thank him.

Cosmic has also mentioned that he would be willing to create custom avatars for members.  Though, since this takes quite a bit of time, there will be a price associated to the creation of the avatars since there are already some for everyone to use.  Only thing you'll have to do is decide what image you want to use as your avatar image. 

Here is the price list with what you'll get for each price:

20,000 IC's
- Avatar with your name/information

500,000 IC's
- Avatar with your name/information
- Custom frame design to your liking

avatars irritate the hellout of me, and i [EDITED] hate animated ones. they might be cool atfirst, but after that thier just reayl annoying.

I've added the ability to be able to turn off the ComNet avatars from displaying on the ComNets.  This will mainly be for those members with slower connections who would rather not wait for all of the avatars to load each time they view a ComNet topic.

If you turn off your avatars, everyone else with this option still turned on will be able to see your avatar.  So it's still a good idea to have one for others to view.

And PhotoShop is the best one out there. I have PhotoShop CS; I just haven't learned to use it yet, but it's far superior over Paint Shop Pro 7, which is what I'm currently using.
