As most of you already know, the possibility of me getting deployed to the Middle East region for war was great. I must announce that I have come up on orders, and will be leaving the VE for a period of 1 year anywhere from the 4th of February to the 14th. During this time, I will be in the Middle East supporting the war efforts that will most likley evolve in the next weeks.
I am hereby stepping down as Polaris squadron leader, and I am reccomending that Sheepy take that spot. He has shown alot of activity and promise, and I think that he will do a great job, as he is very good in helping out newer members to our great club. I am asking to be put into retirement for 1 year, and when I return, to be allowed to return to active duty.
I would like to say thanks to all my friends, WarMaker, K3R, Talon, Sheepy, Fury, and my little brother Riel Fury for helping me make this club just a little better, and add a little contraversy and flavor. I will miss you all, and hope that u do not forget about me. Keep me and my fellow soldiers in your prayers and thoughts. I will return to you all as soon as I can.
God Speed, and good luck everyone. You will be greatly missed.

sighs, i know that it was very possible that you get such orders, but still there was hope that things clear up and that you dont need to go there.
But now you got the Orders.
I wish you luck my friend, watch your back out there and come soon back.
Also good luck to your Fellows who gets also send to the iraq.
I hope you get the posibility to inform us from time to time about your situation out there.
