True. However, he set the circumstances so that it did not interfere with the actual mission. We stopped at a rondeveu point instead of the actual battle arena, and it also gives a chance to start introducing yourself within the fighter. It's doible.. -----------------------

Just some questions about the navy stories in general:
Do we normally split into flights when flying?
When we go in two's (leader and wingman) do we do it by roster position, i.e. 2-3 and 2-4 go together, or is it by preferance?
Also i read somewhere that in a Tie fighter some controls are done by pedals, does anyone know which?
From another source, and can be seen in ANH tie pilots can control the direction of their lasers, but not at the same time as they are steering, is that true?

We should at least try to get together and stick with our flights, although in the heat of battle, particularly when we've been suprised, that can get mixed up. Just try to keep it realistic, including potential confusion. You may find yourself writing about forming temporary flights with other people and NPC's (made-up characters that we simply invent for content and cannon fodder).
I keep forgetting that most of the people here don't remember multiple squadrons. Hmm. Shaz, you've certainly got your work cut out for you, buddy. :P Well, if you guys need any help, just let me know. -----------------------

Well, basically, why I liked the idea of a surprise attack, Chip... Was because it would allow chaos. Now, I don't know if this is necessarilly realistic, but random things should happen, crap we wouldn't even think about engaging in planned battles, so expect to write random attacks. These long spanned out chase scenes might not be right, and just finishing off a group at a time might now be right either, if anything you just attack random targets and attempt to keep yourself alive while creating random scenerios' and plans that will help to improve the story. Basically, just have fun with it, and I'll probably find it acceptable to me and so will the others probably...
And Dirk, when we partner up, its basically random besides Jack and I for the most part, but you guys can partner up however you want or even come up alongside me or Jack... As for your fighter, since this is 'choose whatever you want' you are allowed to decide if you can move your cannons, if you use pedals, whatever. Go on ahead and say its modified to your specifications man, jus do it...
