That was all the instructor said during the lessons. Jaden repeated it to himself every day in the mornings when he did something wrong during his practice period. As a child, Jaden took classes in the ancient Krabi Krabong fighting style. His uncle, Hal 'Obrien was his instructor. Hal was a master of the martial art fighting style Juay Thai, which was the original form of Krabi Krabong. He passed all that he knew to his only living relative, Jaden.
The two lived on the planet of Janeiro. It was a dense, jungle filled planet which flourished with insects and deadly animals. Hal taught Jaden to fight his way through the Jungles to get to other towns to get supplies.
7 years after Jaden was born, his parents were killed by a deadly virus that englufed the planet. No one was sure of what the disease was, and the planet wasn't evacuated and quaranteened quick enough to save everyone. Children were the first to be put on the evacuation transports, but Jaden's parents never made it with him. He jumped on the transport with his uncle, who had barely made it himself.
Once Hal had heard that the planet was how habital, the two moved back and started a new life. Jaden didn't remember much about his parents because they died at a young age.
At the age of 16, Jaden's uncle Hal had died, leaving Jaden with Hal's entire live savings and possesions in his hands. There was only one thing in the whole will that meant something to him, his uncles pair of Ryyk Blades. Jaden used to practice fighting in the Krabi Krabong sword technique fighting style with his uncle all the time, and eventually beat his uncle out in a match.
