Ok it has become a little bit apparent that some people are being a little bit afraid to move the story along themselves. Let me just point out that this is YOUR story, it is moderated and planned by Talon, Fury and Japheth, but it is up to you guys to carry it along.
What I'm trying to say is don't be overly cautious about taking things in a new direction. Wraiths have already taken their Golan and Ramon took them off on a new mission without consulting Fury. It's not really fun to post again and again about killing more rebel goons, there's only so much you can do without a change of scenery and THAT is when stories start to go stagnant and lose momentum.
We haven't got the old comnet to have a look at any more, but chapter 7 is up there. All that you really need is pointing in the right direction you should be able to take it from there, everyone has an imagination 
We had some absolutely crazy things happen back then: Giant mutant worms ridden by rebels troops; ridiculous amounts of explosives behind enemy lines; getting captured and making a break for it.
Now I'm not saying you should do anything crazy, but if you have an idea, go for it!! If you think it will really affect things then run it by Fury or Talon, possibly even your squad leader, before posting.
Even in chapter 7 I managed to bring in characters from Raziel's past, brining in personal touches to a run on only adds to the flavour of a story and is excellent for character development rather than being another stormtrooper grunt.
So, yes, get ambushed by ninja assassin droids, have hover car bound rebels drop grenades on you, run out of ammo and charge a rebel trench with nothing but bayonets, just don't wait for orders and DON'T let the story become droll!

1: If I bother to finish the XWA mission for Mooja that I am currently working on will anyone actually want to play it?

1 Carrack Cruiser
3 Vainglorious Cruisers - slightly refitted; used as troop transports (no fighter complement)

There is no way I can fit all of that into the mission all at once but I'll see what I can come up with.
Allrighty, who wants to try out what I came up with?
I know I got Otto and Lonewolf so far, any other takers?
I got two versions of the mission, I got one that replaces the very first mission in XWA(Did that so I could play test it myself) and on that tacks on a new battle. State which version you would like and where you'd like me to send it and I'll see what I can do.

No there has to be more. We crashed two into the planetary shields to let Jester through, leaving the DD one and the Raiders one. The Dominion was slugging it out with two more, so that makes six. -----------------------

One was captured by Wraith squad.
Only one was crashed for Jester squad and I belive another was just plain fragged.
Now what happened to my takers on the mission I made, neither have stated which version they want or where they want it sent(yes I can look up thier e-mail addies if I must, but I'd still like to know what they want me to send them). -----------------------

Best I got is to take down the last little bit of resistance and then declare Moorja ours and let the mop up forces take care of the rest.
My current idea is to make use of some true Fallen Angel terror tactics and scare the enemy that doesn't want to surrender now that they know we are playing by the standard imperial play book and fighting would be a better alternative to surrender.

I just got back into town and yeah, I suspect all you really CAN do is mop-up missions against a hardened enemy core.
Consider it a good time for character development - for those squads who aren't about to evicerate various species.
Hopefully Tal had something in mind for us soon. -----------------------

I could be really silly with that order if I wanted to.
I think the main point is that I am completely lost about where everyone is, what they are doing, what forces they are facing, and what we can have the republic holding in reserve (if anything).
It's all well and good you saying Take...Moorja... but it doesn't help if I haven't the slightest idea what to consider the enemy to have in place on this planet. You're the ref., throw me a frickin' bone here. -----------------------
