On our Navy story, is there a limit to where we can head off to?  I thought I might take my wingman to the outer reaches of the battle, maybe Chip could come rescue us or something...  *Shrug...

Dunno, maybe we could get chased out, I'm not talking miles out into space where we're almost touching planet side...  I'm talking evade distance, like get far enough from the battle that you are simply fighting your single opponets but you arn't so far from the battle you can't get back in a flash.

Shazam: Note also that though the squadron may not have a full member compliment, the other spaces are filled with NPCs. Your writing sort of makes it sound like there aren't many people in the squadron, but there are a full 12.

That goes for the Navy as a whole, in fact. The Navy IS having some problems with members, but it still able to field several squadrons of fighters. Other squadrons currently being deployed include Sting, Nemesis and Venom Squadrons (which, if we ever get enough recruits will be activated after Viper and Aegis) as well as several wings of NPC squadrons that I cannot, at the moment, come up with good names for.

Another question.  Can we hurry up get the flyboys to disable something?  I don't mind boarding actions in the middle of a firefight, but until we get to that point, I'm stuck discussing philosophy.  While that may be interesting to me, I'm quite sure it's not what you guys want to hear

An NPC is a character in the stories that is not actually in the Vast Empire. Like when you made up that Jedi guy for the writing competition, he was made up, a non-player character. I made up that Til'c guy for my stories, there is no real Til'c in the VE, so he is a non-player character.

I was just wondering if I'm the only one who has issues with the post after post of preparations. Cant we just get to the Dominiom and get our orders without worrying about Music and that crap? This isn't a competition where post counts get you a better score. This is our history we are writing, and it should be something we can look back on and take pride in. I don't know, maybe I'm regarding the chapters with too high a value, but it seems to me that the more "clutter" we put in the line, the more confusing the storyline and the more crap we have to wade through to get the REAL story.

Quite honestly Tal; if they don't know what to write: why write in the first place. On a regular story, I'd tend to overlook it. But this is a very important story.
