Scars: Used to be one slice on left thigh, now no trace remains due to later bacta treatments. There were also numerous blaster and shrapnel wounds, but after-action skin graftings and bacta baths erased those. Hooah.
Reason for joining: Wanted to find meaning in his life(and give his rebel/Jedi parents the finger while doing so), so why not the Imperial Remnant?
D-13:
Having been born into a privileged lifestyle, young Sianu Renkar never knew the meaning of suffering. Life in the upper class of Corellia brought general serenity and happiness. His parents, Askan and Eanu Renkar, raised him to be a model Imperial citizen. He regularly wandered off to the local Imperial bars to talk with off-duty stormtroopers, attended the occasional public execution, and always studied his lessons. In school, he'd always made high marks. Life was good.
It was all a lie. Unfortunately for the little boy, his parents happened to be rebel collaborators. They regularly bought weapons on the black market for the local anarchist cells and planned attacks on Imperial installations. Even worse, Askan was among the (very) few Force-sensitive survivors of Palpatine's purge. He kept his force signatures carefully cloaked within a specially modified penthouse, and renounced his powers and partially-built saber. His ability to use the Force declined to nothingness long ago. All this...they hid from their precious little child.
Under this deceptive cover, life became routine. Sianu Renkar made very few human friends from the upper and lower classes of society on Corellia. One of them, his very first and most trusted friend, would come to change Renkar's life forever. Menakab Errosian was, for the most part, like Sianu Renkar. He was born in the upper tiers of society and enjoyed a luxurious life. They seemed almost as brothers. Ultimately, unlike his best friend, Menakab became a rebel by heart, if not by allegiance, because of his Imperial parents.
At age seven, the first signs of tension took root. The two argued far more frequently, each claiming his side's superiority. Renkar stood for the Imperials while Errosian supported the rebellion.
Although Renkar made a pact of loyalty to Errosian because the latter saved his life once, during a community hiking trip, the two started fighting at age ten nonetheless. For an odd reason, Sianu always won the fights even though Errosian clearly was the stronger and faster combatant. He seemed always to know where the blows would land and dodge the inevitable swing/kick. Then, almost as if aided by an invisible presence, the boy struck back with strength far exceeding his age in his rage. Sianu was lucky indeed.
In one particular fight, Errosian taunted Renkar. He claimed to know a secret that Renkar would never know. After beating the living daylights out of his ex-friend again, Sianu stood over his friend with a knife to his neck. Menakab told D-13 all there was to know about his parents' identity. Then, in Renkar's moment of stunned shock, the little rebel made his escape and disappeared into the stars.
Eventually, Sianu confronted his parents with anger in his cyan eyes. Askan and Eanu recognized the power within him and justifiably feared the worst. However, the pair made no attempt to train him in the ways of the Force, lest he fall to a dark fate. Rather, they tried to talk him into joining the Rebel Alliance. Too late, D-13 recalled thinking. He tagged along, still pretending to be the "little precious" he'd always been. But, inside, his heart burned with agony. He kept this facade up for many years, though the parents noticed the malice eating him up from the inside.
All the pain culminated with the sudden disappearance of Renkar. The Corellian police force did nothing, as many people disappear for some reason or another. A few days later, young Renkar did reappear at his home...with a squad of Imperial stormtroopers. Askan and Eanu were arrested and executed in the main square, with Renkar watching with silent fury. His life, friends, education...all were lies. Lies! What meaning does anything have for the Imperial son of two rebel parents?
As a final effort to make his life mean something, Sianu joined the Vast Empire under the callsign D-13. A star at the Academy, the newly graduated stormtrooper was assigned to the Raiders. While in the squad (and he still is), D-13 blazed through missions and campaigns (lately, Bestine) to become a senior sergeant. Soon after, the Raider settled down into training exercises.
While on a routine combat exercise (specialty story), D-13 ran into an unexpected rebel: Menakab Errosian. The trooper utterly destroyed him with direct E-WEB fire. With the death of Errosian at Renkar's hands, the last trace of his previous life was over. The Empire was his life now.
Yet, the traces of his Jedi heritage couldn't be ignored. Dreams of being a Jedi visited him day by day and mysterious signs continually crept into the daily training regimen. The Dark Jedi Order soon took notice and watched the trooper carefully.
It was on his most recent exercise that the Order gave him the nod of approval. During the live-fire exercise, the trooper exposed his true nature by thoroughly wiping out all the droids within minutes. Soon after, the Dark Jedi kidnapped him and brought him to the dungeons of Lotaith under cover. There he was reborn into the Dark Side learner Cyanus. The noble Dentan "Sianu" Renkar died years ago, upon learning his past and life. Trooper D-13 died on the rooftops of Corellia, burned away by anger. There was only Cyanus...and malice left.
Cyanus:
First seen in the Dark Jedi Order world of Lopen, Cyanus was born out of the wrecked identity of Dentan Renkar, with a bit of the trooper D-13 mixed in. Being much more powerful and different than the late D-13, in addition to being one psychotic wreck, he split and took on a new identity which finally fully manifested on Corellia. Returning as his replacement, he is troubled at the reputation and former lifestyle his host used to have. Cyanus struggles to fit into the Raiders' doctrine and yet maintain his previous life's traits. He is extremely tough and cynical, and will spontaneously hurt underlings without warning, if he finds a justifiable reason to do so.
Personality: Although he remains outwardly the same individual with a different name, he is quite the enigma with none of D-13's old cheerfulness. He does, however, seem a bit aloof at just about everything, displaying impeccable calm even in combat. Whenever something scholarly is discussed, he is almost certain to join in, adding important tidbits of information as he is always out gathering them. He can often be seen with a book only on Lopen. In truth, he merely stashes his emotions into a nuclear reactor heart of an angry individual. He bottles it all up to strengthen himself, and never shows emotion for fear that he'll break down. And who knows what will happen if/when Cyanus DOES get angry. No one has survived to tell the tale, and only the White Knight keeps a log of his victims in an attempt to understand them.
Note: Has a penchant to be condescending toward idiots anywhere. Said idiots usually become his victims.
Uniform/Dress: All white, to show his purifying self. He wears the regulation armor sets. A white cloak split down the middle is commonly draped over his shoulders and folds under his belt, forming a cape around his back and two cloth strips (reinforced with plasteel plates) at the front. Over his gloves he wears flexible metal gauntlets to better hurt people. Two polished-steel buttons fasten the cloth to his armor. This combination actually gives him extreme mobility, allowing him to fight just as well as any Dark Jedi.
Underneath everything, he invariably wears a set of robes made with synthetic fibers to allow him to keep cool. He also keeps a plain, super-thin fillet/circlet band around his head; it is made of a tough platinum-alloy blend and flickers like white fire spontaneously. Even Cyanus doesn't know why it does this.
Abilities: Cannot heal himself with the Force very well, taking twice the time for half the work. Therefore, he prefers a bacta treatment and bristles whenever Mara puts tape on him.
Cyanus is a very good shot, but not perfect. Being a scout, he is also excellent at stealth and disguises, making him quite useful for lone missions deep into enemy territory.
Due to his long years of combat, Cyanus has become a fine tactician, able to spot specific weaknesses and exploit them to devastating effect. However, his tactical skills are unfortunately limited to guerilla, infiltration, and small-unit tactics, those being the Raiders' only styles of combat(ahem). He IS learning the full art of war though, with the help of his battle droids playing strategy games. For now though, expect effective squad-level tactics.
Hand-to-hand combat: Being skilled in the Force, Cyanus can sense incoming blows and act accordingly. He prefers to end fights quickly, and thus aims for vulnerable points that either: cut off air flow, cut off blood flow, or severs a vital point. When unarmed, he takes far longer in taking out enemies, especially when they themselves have melee weapons. With a saber, the fight is already over in the aforementioned scenario. :)

Dark Jedi Order: *Classified*
Status: Healthy
Currently a Dark Jedi Knight, retired senior sergeant in the Corps
Recently demoted for killing a fellow Imperial. Demoted again for who knows what.
Left because he left a letter stating that he hated certain missions he had to do while in reality Cyanus left to start a mercenary group of his own and to become a full-time Knight.
