Just got back from seeing it - very good in my opinion. Daniel Craig (James Bond), I think, will definately be a good Bond for future films. 100 times better than Pierce Brosnan, but is that really hard to achieve?
I thought the movie was very well done, and there's some pretty good action scenes. A nice little plot twist as well.  -----------------------

Brosnan kind of tried to look muscular. Craig could just be a bulky guy. :P
At any rate, I think he'll be a good James Bond. Only thing I really missed having in the movie was Q.  -----------------------

Aye, definitely looks like a thug, haven't seen the movie yet, will this coming week. I liked Brosnan though, and, of course, Connery, only two bonds i liked, the rest were silly nannies (points if you know what that's from) -----------------------

Have to say that I wasn't overly keen on this one. I did like the way they tried to introduce Bond, i.e. getting the Aston Martin, finding out that he likes Vodka Martini's, first meeting Felix Leiter, etc.
But I am an "old school" Bond fan, having a megalmaniac who wants to take over the world, a nasty henchman with a particular talent (i.e. Jaws with his metal teeth), plenty of gadgets, car chases, etc.
Best bit of the movie for me was when he was chasing this guy that was leaping around like a human frog, very good. -----------------------

I haven't actually seen the movie but according to people, this is one of the most violent 007 movies. From the posts i guess my friend was right. =) I was actually going to see it after the dance for my birthday but there were no movie theaters around the hotel i was staying at. -----------------------

I checked it out over the weekend with my folks. I liked it. I feel it had more of a 60's-70's spy movie feel than the Brosnon Bond flicks did. I'm not sure how to qualify that further, probably some sort of mix of the lack of extreme reliance on high-end CG effects and a slightly grittier feel for some of the movie. Meh, I dunno.
I liked it.
I'd rank him somewhere slightly under Connery as far as 'Best Bond' goes (on a scale with Connery as the best, of course). -----------------------

I'd say Connery was the best Bond. Craig is #2 in my opinion. Considering the "Bond story" at the time (Bond being newly promoted to "00" status, not having met Q or M. Penny yet, etc.), he did fairly good. -----------------------

I can't really compare Craig to Connery yet. I don't think Craig seemed like "Bond" until the very end.
