Heck, I'm not sure where the debate started, but it has raged on for a long time. Which do you prefer, and why do you do so?

Wow, really surprised. I expected ninja to do a better showing than this. Anyway, I guess Imperials prefer pirates.

I used to like Ninja's but since watching Pirates of the Carribean it changed my whole outlook on them. They Lie, cheat,steal,drink rum and dont shower its like a dream come true :P -----------------------

I'm gonna have to say Pirates. The thing with Ninjas is that there to strict and they follow to many codes. Pirates on the other hand only follow one. The Pirate Code. They get to have fun, get drunk and best of all, roam the seas. Ninjas just do missions and when they get caught kill themselves. GO PIRATES!

how about warriors? In the Roman sense, pirates dont appeal to me, and neither do ninjas. Pirates are only paid by freelance (share the booty) and ninjas are throwaway assassins. -----------------------

Well, Pirates loot, pillage, plunder and drink, they talk like badasses, have awesome stories and legends, sing great shanties, float around on ships, and get to be all fearsome all the time, they keep what they take and give nothing back. Ninjas dress in funky black pajamas and carry the fragile ninja-to, they do very little that is seems like much fun and are generaly too confined for a free spirit like myself. Yarg, speak like a pirate.
Also, that site about ninjas freaking out and killing people is pretty effin stupid, and annoying, it's made me dislike ninjas more than I ever did before, and i never thought much of them before. -----------------------

Ninja do NOT have any sort of moral code, unless the individual wants one. A Ninja can do whatever they want. There really isn't such a thing as a ninja-to, simply because a Ninja is trained to use whatever the hell they have on hand, much like a Pirate. If you look at it closely, Ninja and Pirates really aren't all that different.
BTW: Samurai and Ninja are both singular and plural, so "Samurais" is not a word, nor is "Ninjas."
