mIRC/Java Chat (i.e. "chatting") is only one activity that you can do in the Vast Empire. The only real thing we do have is the VE weekly meetings, and although it is not required to be at these meetings, it's an excellent means of getting real-time up-to-date information (promotions, awards, division news and updates). As I said - these meetings do not require your participation, but it is good to attend for your own benefit. Usually we hold lotteries (pot is up to like 25 million ICs I believe), and sometimes we award those that attend the meetings if we have a low head-count.

The primary means of activity, however, is the writing. VE competitions and such primarily revolve around our storywriting, so if you think you won't have the time to write a decent-quality page, then perhaps this club may not be for you. However, if you can write then it'd be great if you could stay because I'm sure you'll find that we're a good bunch of folks.

On, first you go to Select Server, and then scroll down to Undernet. Follow that by clicking on the file looking Undernet, and a few things should pop up. The top two should be Random US and Random UE or something, click respectivly for your place. Then press select, which is on the right. Connect to server and type /join #vast_empire
