Things that make you proud?

OK..i`m super tired, and trying to stay awake until 10:30...so i`ll post somthing and then continue to listen to my tunes.

What is somthing you have done within the past...week or so, that has made you feel rpoud or special, even if for a short time.

For me, today I was shooting my recurve bow at a beercan, and kept missing by millimeters, and i finally hit it!...I hit a popcan with a recurve bow from 20 meters.

This might not seem hard or impressive, but for those archers in the VE, specificly people who shoot recurves, they know how hard it is.

and somthing that made me proud yesterday was riding my friends horse w/o falling off(i was very tired from staying up till 3 AM and was half asleep and she offered to take me riding...i had 3 hours of sleep and rode that horse for....5 hours...it was tirering..and no sunburns either

...

anyways, i`m going to bed now, cause 10:30 is a ways away and its a school night..just wanted to see what makes YOU guys proud of yourselves.

I've managed to memorize all of the Japanese hiragana in about 5 days. My memory really sucks, so I was pretty proud of that. For those wondering, I'll be learning Katakana in about 6 weeks. :P No kanji this semester other than what I pick up on my own (I already recognize many and can even write a few).

Surviving the training excercises put up by my company. We had to make a vehicle checkpoint, and not be killed by terrorist factions. We managed to find, and disable every explosive!

One thing that makes me proud: a certain little lady who could have picked anyone else in the world, yet found her way to me.

Two: took my Army physical test for ROTC on Thursday. Ran two miles in twelve minutes.

You made pretty good time on your Hiragana, Japheth. Last year it took me about a month to be able to read and write all 46. At the moment, I am learning Katakana. It's been a lot easier to learn. So far in my studies, I am able to read and write the first 30. I am pretty happy about learning Katakana since I'm starting to comprehend some words and phrases because its written all over the place on tons of Japanese items.

Something else that makes me proud is my dad. He's down in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, helping with the Hurricane relief. I believe he is filling prescriptions out of the back of a truck. Hopefully, he'll be back sometime next week.
