You all know what a biography is and you should probably already have one.  What we're going to do is look for the best five biographies in the VE. 

What you will need to do is complete your biography in your roster profile.  To get to where you can edit your profile, you'll need to go to the VE roster and click on a division you are a member of.  From there, you'll see a link on the left hand side that says 'Edit Profile'.

You will have one week to complete your biography.  Once you have completed your bio, you'll need to post a reply on this thread saying "My biography is done".  Once you have done that, you will be entered into the competition.  You will need to post a reply by the end of the day on Sunday, May 22nd.  Any submissions after that time will not be accepted.

After the one week for biography creation, there will be a one week period to judge all the biographies entered.  After that week, I will announce the winner of the competition at the VE meeting on Sunday, May 29th.

The criteria for judging will be based on the following:
- Factual/Continuity (33%)
- Creativity (34%)
- Detail/Completeness (33%)

These are what must be included in your biography in order to be accepted as an entry:
- Name
- Callsign
- Age
- Species
- Height
- Weight
- Hair Color
- Eye Color
- Reason for joining the Empire
- Place of Birth
- Any Marks/Scars
- History (This is where your creativity comes in)

-- Training
-- Prior Experience
-- Character Skills

These are the rewards for the best biographies:
1st Place:  1,000,000 ICs
2nd Place:  700,000 ICs
3rd Place:  400,000 ICs
4th Place:  Theta-class T-2c Personnel Transport
5th Place:  BD-3000 "Betty" Luxury Droid

I had the same trouble. Type < p > without the spaces and you will get spaces on the roster.

The biography uses pure html, so if you wanted to format it for new lines and stuff, you'll need to use the html tags stated in previous replies.
