My list: everything my brother listens to. It sucks. It just sucks. Some of it is that stupid punk sh*t (no wonder he got searched by the cops). Some is this idiot Russian band that thinks they're great because they suck. Then he also listens to those idiot songs that have Japanese people singing gibberish English. What's he call it? R.a.p : Retards attempting poetry, as I have always insisted.
My ten year old brother got a hip hop cd recently. It has the latest tracks from them rappin' sh*theads like $0.50. He plays it over the stereo, and for a few days I was bombarded with lyrics like "Ima mudderfocking pimp bla bla bla" followed by repetitive electronic music.
I secretly snapped the cd in half and threw the pieces away.
He's still wondering where the hell that cd went. To add to the irony, I reprimanded him for being irresponsible enough to "misplace" it. Hehehe.
I told him to listen to some real music, not the crap recited by tards like Eminem and $0.50. Told him to stop thinking that rap is not "cool" or "gangsta" and told him to listen to some genuine rock.. like Guns and Roses. Man they're so 3l337.

I kinda like Eminem. A lot of his stuff is pretty good. I also have a taste for death metal. Really, I listen to anything, from classical to country. N' Synch is horriffic, though. -----------------------

I gotta agree with Hashi and say William Hung. plus all the boy-bands, britney spears and her wannabes, and techno. Hafta say though if u ever wanna listen to some good music get the songs from the lord of the rings. -----------------------

The lord of the rings has awesome music plus morrowind theme and the many other game themes have good music. The best though is theme to Halo very cool. I don't listen to much other music because I don't I really don't know why.  -----------------------

If you ever want to see me on my knees grasping my head just play the 'Hamtaro' theme.
That is the only music that has made me even so much as go weak in the knees and I'm pretty sure if I ever hear it again without being prepaired I will be on the knees grasping my head in a vain attempt to get it out.
There is some rap and industrial music I like, but for the most part I listen to just about everything else but when people ask me my favorite I just go with classical, and it is tough to beat classical for mood music.
Game soundtracks can be both good(Battle Cruiser Millenium is another good sound track) and bad(I've heard some awefull sound tracks). -----------------------

I just saw this last night but has anyone seen the new show called WB's superstar where they tell the bad ones they're good and the good ones there bad. then at the end they tell the one that "won" that they suck in front of millions of people. kinda on this topic cuz if u listen to the people that are singing u almost want to kill urself -----------------------

Before you go criticizing rap as not being music, just read up on its history, and then make your conclusions. I don't like all rap, but I like some of it. To say that rap isn't music is asinine in my opinion. Anything that has to do with musically expressing yourself, whether that is via vocal methods or instrumental, is a form of music.
I like Clay Aiken's song, and I think he's a decent singer. No, he did not win American Idol. That was Ruben, which I completely shake my head on. Ruben is like one of those older singers of the past: he can only sing one way. Aiken has more ability to expand his voice to different styles.
As far as music I don't like and/or completely hate, I'd have to agree with disliking William Hung's songs. As someone once said (could have been Simon Cowel), "America isn't laughing with him, they're laughing at him."
Pretty much all of the N'Sync and Backstreet Boys songs I hate. The only thing I found decent about those bands was there ability to create some nice harmony.
Celine Dion songs I just don't like at all.
Outkast, I hate.

When I refer to hating rap Im referring to most of the current rap. The stuff from the early 90s is powerful stuff which i have much more respect for. Itmakes apowerful point. This modern stuff is ridiculous. -----------------------

I'm not sure I agree with the list either, except that all those songs belong there. The ranking could be different and that's about it.
That's not to say I don't enjoy some of the tunes listed myself. Just because you like a song doesn't make it a good one. I mostly just put the link up to see what would come of it.
For the record, their analysis of Toby Keith's filth was dead on.
As for rap, I'd say rap has sucked since the 90s, not after. -----------------------

Simon and Garfunkel - The Sounds of Silence
Always liked this song, probably ranks in the top 10 for me in terms of their songs.
Billy Joel - We Didn't Start the Fire
Definitely not one of his better hits but it certainly doesn't rank in amongst some of the worst songs ever.
(Btw. on the subject of Billy Joel, Captain Jack and Pianoman are two of the greatest songs ever written)
