Ideas right, not sure where the VEN story is at atm(besides dead in the water).
Well we still have that task force of capitol ships left(Assault Frigit, Dreadnaught, Light Calamari Cruiser, Liberator Troopship).
And at some point we are supposed to provide air support to the ground pounders.
We can look to rl for ideas to make that more interesting.
Airforce and Navy will provide a pilot as a commtech to relay strike orders and coordinates since being a pilot he'd have a greater insight and ability to call down more accurate air strikes. Because of our utter lack of ground force superiority that person can wind up having a little fun dodging blaster fire. -----------------------

Hello everybody. Sorry I've been gone for about a month over what I thought I was, just got a hold of summer and couldn't let go. But I've been running in the mornings and stuff to, not to mention I passed out of two classes...
I didn't get demoted or anything like that while I was away right? I still FL of Fl3? or was it 2? Dunno. That's alright, lets see if we can make that Navy story interesting again.
We can do some stuff that doesn't have to do with the story correct? -----------------------

errr theres only one squadron alive.... how can you have a compertition for it (elite). Anyway Viper was and still is the elite squadron even though its disbanded, its pilots still rule -----------------------

There is no denying the Navy is in trouble and something needs to be done.
There is also no doubting that SWG has hurt us more then it has helped us. As such when JTL comes out we very easily could either gain a great many recruits or lose any and all hope of resusitating the navy. My clairvoyance sees no middle ground on this unless we can think of something to offset any losses.
Now I propossed an idea on the SWG boards that I think would help quite substantialy but no one seems to have paid any head to it. I'd like input from more then one person.
Also I am willing to break out my mission making utilities and make missions again. I tried creating the battle for Mooja for XWA(I could prolly do it in XvT as well) but again so little attention was paid to my efforts that I gave up refining it into one of my glorious achievments that I am capable of when making missions.
So I ask you all what would it take to get those of you still here to put forth a little effort and make the VEN breathe again. Before I worry about recruits I want to see signs of life from the poeple we already have.
Again what do you want?
There are people still around who want to see the VEN come out of these death throughs but we need the support of the average pilot. -----------------------

We were supposed to be invading a planet or something (Working with the Army) and the story went to hell. I believe we're still in space... It went to hell because I couldn't carry the Navy by myself anymore.
I need help from the rest of you and a few times we got carried away with ourselves again.
Because we couldn't keep up with the army it was pretty much decided that the fighting in space would have to be wrapped up.
Unless a few of you can step up and carry some of the weight the army is going to have no choice but to basicly make us do what we should be doing ourselves.
I'm burnt out again and it'll be a while before I can post anything for the navy.
Mooja is under control. Next objective is Bestine.
Now I'm going to sink back into the shadows and rest. -----------------------

Good, your being active, keep it up... How old are you by the way, I'm just curious. Your acting a bit like I was when I joined a long time ago, so I'm just curious. Keep up the activity.
(BTW, we need to get a navy story started up soon, something interesting, it doesn't have to involve the Chapter 8 or whatever the hell it was we were trying to do with Thyferia... That way some of these new recruits will have some were to write, make them feel like they're doing something.) -----------------------
