As for my current state, my parents have gotten too lazy to reformat my computer right now, and trust me, I'm not allowed to do it myself.  Unfortunatly, my Aviators exam isunrecoverable, so I'll have to rewrite it.  I've gotten a few minutes a day on my dad's laptop for homework and what not so yea...

Here's whats up, Shazam doesn't want people on the roster that pop in and out of activity. To put it bluntly, it is inconvenient to the squadron as a whole for some one to pop in and out at their whim.

Hello all. Kaph Six here, reporting in for stuff. I am so glad to be a member of the Elite Squadron of the VEN! Hello!

We should wrap up the current story in the next two weeks since we are going to start a joint story with Nazgul then. We haven't finalized it yet, but I'll tell you basically how things are going to go down.

The story goes that Nazgul is down pilots after their last mission (which is linked to this one.) An arrangement is made for a flight of Elite Kaph Pilots to assist Nazgul under Trevor's over all command. Basically we are going to be flying Y-Wings pretending to be NR pilots. That about sums it up for now.

Tune in later for further announcements.

Congrats to you as well Than on being promoted to Ensign. I believe that makes us the highest ranked active writers in the navy. (OK, will is higher but he's not activly writing :P)

Sorry everyone, I was going to post a quick note on the Mortain project, but see where I have been at least temporarily stricken from the Kaph squadron list. And although I was rather actively involved in that story until recently, I understand the reasons for purging inactive people on a regular basis.

I perfectly understand Shaz and Than about what you are saying about the fairness of regular reporting. I just got out of another chemo-treatment and can begin posting some more if and when welcome.

I know it's not exactly fair to give leeway to say one member and then expect so much more from another. However, in my opinion, which really doesn't count, in an effort to broaden the Vast Empire's base, I personally would make exceptions to and coordinate absences with postings. We already have a reward system that rewards people who are more active with promotions and such. So why not let people post at their leisure to some extent?

In my defense, one thing I have tried to do is make posts that are open ended and leave room for my absences and returns. For instance, my last post left me leaving base to rejoin the rest of the squadron. In that way many things can happen before and or between my return including the end of the story. Say before I got there, everything was finished.Also, I have no problem with some one else using my character during my brief absences.

Anyway, lemme know what you would like from me.And if there is at least a small part I might be able to play in the Empire, and where I might fit in.

Also, a quick welcome to the Strangler. I know with my situation in particular we can use good help. Good luck.

Dredj, your post that needed to be corrected it better but there are still two major errors. One, you need to be flying an Interceptor. Two, there is no squadron of bombers. The Aggressors don't come until after the CR90 is destroyed (I still don't get why it is even considered bomber, having no payload).

You deleted your second newest post (where you crashed into the ship) and your latest post has you in the air again. If you read my post following the prior I write about the event. You can't change your mind all of a sudden after people have built off of your post.

I didn't kill you off in that post, you are actually in the water. The proper way to get back into the story would to be picked up by the search party I called for and then use a ship that they just happened to have laying around that the techs have been working on to keep their skills up (so be it if it is a StarViper).

Also, if you check the roster, you are no longer my wingman. I understand you didn't have access to a computer for a month but regardless, If you are gone things are going to most likely change up.

Also, your last two posts were about half as long as the minimum that they should be.

Etan- it won't take much to put you back on the roster, but we just need to see some consistancy.  We understand that whatever condition you or another member would have is extremely limiting, but that makes sense and should be reflected by our rosters.  If you wish to remain active, you may do so and post at your leisure, and probably still be rewarded for your efforts.  Including you in the squadron because you 'stop-in' is not going to work at this time, though.  Mainly, we're expecting, though these things can be off, an influx of members that are both old and new as the summer returns.  Keeping spots open for these members that, hopefully, will be able to compete in the ESC should we have the right numbers, is our primary concern.  That's about all I have to say on the subject, but you can message me in private if you have other thoughts.
