I got an email back from blah and solo... basically Solo wants to be moved to the reserves and blah is unable to perform any gaming for the time being. Just thought i should put that somewhere. -----------------------

usually these topics were used to have "private" discussions within squadrons... seeing how there is only one squadron being the root for the entire navy it's almost pointless... almost  -----------------------

Alright, Liquid has been promoted to take the position of Training Officer so Ive been put back in command of Kaph Squadron. You are about to witness a long and possibly boring speech but what is contained in this post is important so please bear with me as I post it.
First a question: does this squadron have a website, if so what is it, who maintains it, is it complete, and if not what needs to be done on it.
Now some news: I have begun creating a story for us, the opening post should be up midweek so please stand by for that. I hope that you will enjoy the mission that I am creating, it will encompass a variety of parts and features so there should be a little something of interest to everyone I hope.
Meetings: I would like to meet with the Flight Leaders ASAP and with the entire squadron shortly thereafter. FL's Ill be contacting you soon. I would like to have a meeting squadron meeting for Kaph and I need some days and times that are good from everyone (see e-mail section below)
Reports: Remember, reports are due to the FL's BY FRIDAY! FL's I need your reports either on Friday or sometime during the day on Saturday so I can write mine.
E-mail: Ok I need you all to e-mail me and check in. Yes I know there is an AWOL check underway, this is just a little follow up on that. Plus, I also need some information in this e-mail.
1. what times and days are good for you for a meeting
2. what games do you play and when
3. do you have mission design, website, or graphic design skills
4. what would you like to see this squadron have/do
5. any questions you have about me or the way i run things (if you have any questions)
I am sure I will post some more to add to this opening post when I think of a couple of more things, I have a few more thoughts in my mind but the flu is clouding my ability to formulate solid thoughts :S Anyway, I am glad to be back in command here and I hope as a squadron we can help to bring back some of the fun and activity to VEN.

Thursdays and Fridays almost anytime unless I am doing something, than the other days of the week EST, 12 PM-2 PM maybe.

Freelancer when I get back home, I lost XWA, so I may download that and see if I cant play it.

Well, let's see, gaming and writing? :-P No, but seriously, more recruiting. It would be great to see us recruit another three squadrons and then win a special status kinda like the VEAs ARC guys.

/me salutes.
Currently, I have no times during which I know that I can be online. It's mostly going to be study halls and the occasional late night oppurtunity. As for games, all I have is TIE Fighter, which lacks a multiplayer mode. I am working on my personal story, it's now a more-than-20-page word project. Chapter Two will be up soon, in increments. I want to do a little more editing. I just started a web-based programming class, but have no idea when I'll be usefull to the VE in that area. I'll be sure to let you know when anything changes.
