hey Drac, I know this is a bit premature, but... at the end of the story, can you send me the post counts of each person in both squadrons please?  I made a promise to NS that I'd pay them for posting on the story, just so we can get some activity from them, and I'm thinking of extending it over to Regents as well, so... if I can get those numbers at the conclusion, that'd be awesome.

Also... this will be one large freaking bill I'm going to foot too...

As a member who considers himself still fairly new (not even 2 months here) I think quick summaries would be useful.  I found it tricky reading through Vx3 when I first arrived and I'm pretty sure we have now eclipsed that in length.

Also, my 8th post is up.  Its another NPC post.  My next post will also be NPC, and then I shall swing the action back to my character the post after (I'm trying to get a balance.  Too many character posts and he looks like a superhero doing everything!  Too many NPC posts and whats the point in even having a character!).

I tend to throw up a rough summary for y'all to read, cause I know my posts can get a bit... out there... and sometimes lengthy.  Though... recently, they've just been out there, so... I summarize it for y'all when I remember to.

I try to be good, honest... my job just forces me to get injured.  Don't blame me, blame the job.

My commendations to serpent, that guy is amazing. When I get my next up, i'll ram someone. Maybe a cr90, if echelon doesn't get to it first.

I trust that Bernie will be using a NPC ship to ram things, the use of the Fearless as a glorified battering ram on any orders but my own would lead to an unfortunate change of job, to Deep Space Mynock Hunter, for the offending person.

On another note, I should finally get another post up tomorrow, I think the internet has finally decided to cooperate at school.

Can people volunteer to be an SCAP of a Deep Space Mynock Hunting vessel?  I think it'd allow me to go EVA many times... and I get to use my Assault Rifle...

Maybe there should be a zero-g combat certification for that occupation...

Yes... I'm considering ramming my ship into the Fearless, just so I can be a DSMH.  Sounds more fun for me... I get to go EVA...

My ship's next mission will be Deep Space Mynock Hunting... As well as recon on an NR system of Drac's choosing...

Yeah... Slash has now gotten me thinking about doing one of the worst jobs in the Navy... Just for sport... Thanks Slash.

As hard-headed as he is? I knew you're a cruel man, G, but I didn't think you were that ruthless. Their existence is only about two bytes of data and I still feel sorry for them when considering that.

@Amacuse: Nah, ships are too valuable to detail to that sort of duty. Instead we'd be issuing you a blaster rifle and a vacuum-rated hardsuit, with all the options. Three weeks' worth of tastless but nutritious ration paste, a handy catheter and other such equipment for use as needed (though I warn you: the smell may get old), and a jetpack with several extra fuel tanks. Just let me know which system you'd like to be dropped off in and I'll be happy to have a shuttle deliver you and return to pick you up a few weeks later.

Got a brief transition post up making the VENI thing a bit more clear and calling dibs on a Nebulon B.  We should probably start talking a lot more on this thread, SCAPs and Grey, as the VENI subplot develops... want to make sure everything works together.  For example, what happens once this little CR90 is at the center of a little NR battlegroup?

My latest post is up!  Its basically just setting up the attack on the Strike Cruiser Ark of Wrath.  That attack will be my next post.
