Hello Xenon welcome to Tuk'ata! We currently have a squadron story underway: Awesomeness .

Read up on the posts to get to know your fellow pilots. We have basically only had a briefing where the squadron was given their new assignment (moved from the Atrus to the Halcyon Warrior). We retreated to the nearest cantina and got ourselves into a friendly bar fight with other pilots which caused our SC, Wager, to be knocked out and put him on the Injured until further notice roster.

For now, both In Character (IC) and Out of Character (OOC) myself and Hades will be temporarily in command.

We are currently making our way to the shuttle that will take us to the Halcyon Warrior. You should focus on introducing your character, reporting in with myself or Hades (since Wager is in a coma and thus hard to find), and getting yourself to the transport.

We report on Fridays by midnight CST to Ryn and Hades using the same format you used in the academy. I understand you are finding the wiki troublesome but if you look at the Tuk'ata page: Tuk'ata! you will find brief descriptions of all the pilots in the squadron to help you in post writing and if you can PM me a description of Xenon I'd be happy to add it to the wiki for you.

Do you think that Eli could spend some time in a bacta tank, or something similar, before he gets on the transport? Hades'll probably need it too with his own concussion. Or maybe not.

You won't be detained on the Atrus as you've already been transferred to the Warrior. As such you'll end up being detained on the Warrior instead. Since you need to first get there though, that will obviously happen after you've boarded the shuttle, taken the trip and landed on the new ship.

Just enjoy thinking you were all lucky enough to get away with it scott free... only to have those delusions crushed upon arrival

As you can see, yours truly leads the rag-tag band of misfits in the posting and word count, followed by our oh-so-beloved Wing Commander. Eli is a not-so-far-behind third, so well done to him, and Fyston leads in the average word count with 2,467...

EDIT: I've added X10 to the Tuk'ata wiki page (with the exception of his description) and removed the people who have been put into the reserves. Additionally, I updated our history -- including the chaotic battle of Abrae from Out of the Invisble and even the current progression of our squadron, namely that Wager has been seriously injured while Ryn and Hades have taken charge in lieu of another SCO, until such a time Naval High Command appoints one. If you want your character to be included in the Squadron description (Ie his/her contributions or notable actions) please PM myself and Ryn before editing! Thank you.

Hades, a member can't lead in the average anything department if he/she only submits one post. I'm thinking the general minimum should be at least 3 posts, possibly more for story arcs that expand across many, many posts.

X10, good to see you've taken an interest in the story. A suggestion for the future - try to make your posts a bit more vague in terms of time settings. In other words, rather than going with something like "at precisely 7:23" try using something like "earlier that morning", "in a few hours time", "a short while after that" and similar expressions. We've discovered that the vaguer the exact setting... the lesser the risks of inconsistencies.

One question - what did you mean by "wait for the air to clear"? 1. Clear of what exactly? 2. Shuttles, like most spaceships for that matter, are equipped with all sorts of sensors allowing them to fly through darkness, wind, snow, rain, smoke, fog and most other similar phenomena.

A few other quick notes, in order of appearance - 1. It's most unlikely for the meeting to have been planned that early in the morning, especially considering the large amounts of booze consumed by the various members. Not that some of them might not indeed have some problems... 2. There wouldn't really be a whole lot of civilian vessels docked with the Atrus. A few certainly, but most would either have business on the moon's surface or on some of the orbiting stations. 3. Cresh is the designation given to the third flight formation in each squadron.

I should point out that all of these are mostly nitpicks, and I feel confident that you'll further improve once you better adapt to the Navy side of doing things. That said it was a fairly decent first post so good job.

Eli, that disruptor pistol could get you in trouble should it ever be found during a search. Technically speaking so could the space rodent but likely to a lesser extent...

Oh, and I've sent that promised mil ICs for the ballad submission. Since there was just one submission, Hades got the dough. I look forward to seeing him spend it all on booze
