Scral, Maroy, how are those intro posts coming?  Hades, ETA on your first post?  I'm eager to move us on, but I want to give folks a chance to chime in. 

How do you feel, Tuk'ata members, having less than 24-hours notice before you have to temporarily transfer to a smaller ship, under the command of a guy some of you have never served under, who's been linked to VENI in the past?  How does Drac's mysterious disappearance land for you all?  Get postin', folks! 

Delightful!  I feel... powerful. 

Hate it when that happens.  No worries; I'm not tryin' to nag.  Was just curious.

Just glad to see you back to life, DR.    But, that said, please join us!  The story's off to a good start, but the more, the merrier! 

FYI, your ID lines should all still place you aboard Halcyon Warrior, for now, in TF Aurek of Second Fleet.  The present story is a temporary special assignment, after which we'll reevaluate the roster.

Alright guys, it is officially THURSDAY. Yep, that means tomorrow is Friday and Friday is report day. The question is, will you have a bunch of inactivity on your report or 1 to 2 posts to boast?

I had very little to do with the transfers, but for the effort of passing the requests up the chain of command, I demanded only one thing: activity.  So get posting you two, and everyone, report!

Whatever you want to see more of in Navy stories, experiment with it!  More NPC POVs?  Write it!  More CD between wingmates?  Write it!  This story is your chance to show off your vision for how squadron stories CAN run... what you put in to this one determines what the next experience will look like!

In honor of Halloween, I guess The close friend I based Lunei off of wrote this and insisted I post it here.

Twelve Tuk'atans, ready to go.
Who will die, the Dominion soon know.
Crazy pilots, all of the lot.
Eleven will live, and one will be shot.

A squadron of aces, with ten to one odds.
They stand on their own, against five hostile squads.
One dives to the left, another loops right.
An Interceptor swoops, his target in sight.

Four emerald blasts fly, hitting their marks.
The smitten Tuk flares, shooting out sparks.
More TIE Fighters close, to kill him for good-
They forgot to account for where Tuk'ata stood.

Four crazy pilots, their fighters a blur
Came in from behind, hands steady and sure.
They carved up the TIEs, the Dominion ships fled
And right in pursuit the Tuk'atans sped.

One shot a missile, another a blast
And after barely a minute had passed
The Dominion fighters were floating debris
And of surviving pilots, they had only three.

The Tuk'atans formed up, still ten fighters strong
And fought Captain Vrail, who fought right along.
They exchanged their blows, one after another
And poor Captain Vrail was shipped back to his mother.

Of the twelve pilots there, eleven yet live.
A few stayed in sickbay, all the help they could give.
Two bathed in bacta, and could barely survive.
The one who died? A redshirt named Clive.
