Do we have a plan for starting the bar fight? It just occurred to me that a certain half-drunk, overemotional Twi'lek might be a plausible catalyst (although probably not the actual cause).

There's always tension between the pilots and the crewmen on account of the former being awesome and the latter being... not awesome Note this is not a valid cause but it is nevertheless another underlying catalyst.

Knowing Deep, I'd say it's a bit of both.
Anyway, I posted. Again, I apologize for the massive amount of CD, but I wanted to try writing a conversation that wasn't entirely internal monologue. (I failed miserably, but meh.) I left the end of the post fairly open since I didn't want to mess with anyone else's plans. (Well, that and I'm terrible at writing hand-to-hand combat.)

There once was a brave pilot called Seth, Into the booze but not into meth, He flew and he flew, all around space, Numerous times, with a handsome young face He looked up and looked down the brave pilot looked around, but never could he find with all his guile, any substitute that came within a mile, Of the witty rogue Deepsix, Whose vigorous brogue did not mix, With those of a certain class, Who most definitely did not pass His unflinching, piercing gaze And in the end, were sent to a maze It is said of these poor souls, that their screams shrivel fat rolls, but nothing could perturb, nor possibly disturb, The witty rogue DeepSix, who was said to mix Alcohol of infinite hues, to make exceptional booze. Thus goes his tale, the witty young man Cunning and strong, always with plan. DeepSix the brave, some called the hero but all we know for certain is he's better than Nero.

Two notes regarding and related to the latest post. First, a Falleen's pheromones only make them more attractive and likeable - great for sex and subtle information gathering... but to my knowledge however no canon source mentions them being able to control other feelings and urges.
Second, all members should be extra careful with any special abilities their species or certain exotic pieces of equipment may provide them with. Currently all Force sensitive species, individuals and related items (such as lightsabers and datacrons) are restricted. Similarly restricted are certain species that have been deemed either overpowered or canonically incompatible with our own circumstances. The reason I'm reminding everyone of this is because some abilities could from certain points of view be considered too close to Force effects or simply too vulnerable to negative phenomena such as GMing.
This is not the case yet, so the above is more of a preemptive measure...

I'm currently reading Coruscant Nights I: Jedi Twilight and it features the Falleen Prince Xixor. Quote:In addition to pheromones, they could produce allelochemical transmitters that evoked various emotions, such as fear, desire, anger, doubt, and confusion, among most species with similar body chemistry.
- Page 51 On page 288, Xixor uses his ability to manipulate Nick Rostu, a GAR officer who is tasked with giving Jax Pavan to Vader. Rostu originally wanted to use Xixor to save Pavan/use him against Vader. Soon after, Rostu radically changes his mind and begins to think that he should join up with Xixor. As he goes through the thoughts surrounding this, he realizes that Xixor's skin changed from a greenish color to a "pleasing shade of pink." Just a heads up, however. I'm around/lurking, but I fractured my left wrist after falling on it and am fairly slow at typing. It's taken me 30-35 minutes to type this up

Aye, there's also another example when a Jedi temporarily gets brainwashed by the pheromones - this I knew was possible. Still, this is interesting...
Just a heads up but Hades is hunting you and planning to stab you repeatedly with your own horns. I of course have no clue what could've possibly made him decide such a thing. No clue whatsoever...
Also, broken or even missing limbs are never an excuse! Type with your horns if you have to...

Good luck, guys. For everyone who's been (understandably) irritated with my lack of activity: enjoy my post on the bar fight story.
From what I've heard there won't be an SCO for a week or two, but you guys are in good hands with Deep, Ryn, and Hades...which you already knew. See ya around.

On one hand I do very much appreciate the aggressiveness, violence and general outcome... at least I do on a more personal level On the other hand I can't stop thinking maybe it was a tad dark... Then again this sort of incident might change general perception regarding bar fights Oh who am I kidding? At best it will make Hades feel bad for starting it, but having served under me for so long I doubt even that will be possible any more.

Oi, was the Zabrak me/Fy? They're not common in the Empire after the Galactic Empire screwed them over.
Just asking because it matters to my opening post, though I highly doubt Fy'd attack his commanding officer.

I've got to say - great posts all around! Deep and Wager, you both made me laugh out loud.
Wager: as much as we may or may not have scorned you, I can say it is sad to see yet another commander of Tuk'ata go. Even if you weren't active per se, you were a nice guy in the face of harsh skepticism from most if not all of the squadron. It was good to write with you (even for such a short time).

So you know that post I promised would come some time this week? Yeah, that'll come... hopefully... before I send in my report... Assuming the internetz don't become an utter female dog like they did last night, pardon my censored French. On that note, since this is my first post of the story, a good portion of it will be used to catch up from the beginning of the story to now. As such, I was wondering if anyone would mind if I used them to facilitate some minor dialogue in my post at certain intervals, assuming I don't utterly contradict their post (so basically, if their character was speaking with someone else at the time, obviously I wouldn't be able to use them). Just wanted to check on that before I got started. Other than that, I promise both the post and the report or so help me my name isn't Darian Rogue in real life, which it's not. I'm very non-committal, in case you haven't noticed.Edit: On another note, would it by chance be acceptable (though not necessarily in this post) for my T3 droid, when it eventually arrives (as Darian'll may be calling it in this post) to use shock-stun-whatever things to facilitate incapacitating Tuk'ata's temporary adversaries and thus Darian's not-yet-mentioned-IC goal of finishing the fight as soon as and with as little injury as possible to anyone. Not that I mean to be a party pooper or anything. That's just an IC thing, and I understand if it's not allowed. Completely, actually. I'm not sure what answer to expect, so I'm just going to stop here and wait for answers. Oh, and warn me if that would also be grounds for punishment IC as well, because in that case... >.>

/me assumes 'win' pose
Posted another short and weak post on the squadron story. And I sent in my report. My work here is done.
FM/SCW/Eli Long/B-4/S:26 "Tuk'ata"/W:58 "Javelin"/ISD Halcyon Warrior/TF:Besh/1Flt/SFC/VEN/VE [MC2] [MiD]
When you strike your opponent do not bruise or even bloody them. Hit them so hard you take away their capacity to fight back.
