anywho I'll try to get a post up for the story today.  BTW, i no longer have any internet access on Sundays.  As for being unable to connect to the IRC server; since everyone is telling me the server is fine and the library computers disagree, I figure the firewall is just being pissy.  Man Erie County sucks..........

I've reported to Tan and Alater consistently since i've been back (through the comnet message center.)

Where's Daesha and LK-486?  I got her into the story so she can start posting.

It's hard for me to jump into the middle of a story, as if seemingly from nowhere.


In my mind, I have to completely justify where I've been the whole time, as opposed to have been conveniently in the background, waiting to take the stage.

It would be cruel of me to ask you to suddenly write into this mission that you've had essentially no part in.

Basically all i want is a comnet message telling me that you're still alive, so i can weed out and kick out whoever doesn't deserve to be a Blackjack.

And of course, posts would be nice. After all, that's what you're in the VE for isn't it?

So far i've gotten reports from Garryll, LK, and a message from TX. Alhzen also came back recently and he's excused since he's been gone.

Let's see some more reports in. I know for a fact more of you are around.

I will be the first to say that if you are extremely lazy, i don't want you in my squad.

So, be warned.

I may post again, but i think the last post set us up to end the mission pretty well. Tanus said he'd post tonight, but if he doesn't by Sunday i'll have a talk with him about ending it myself.

I have an idea for a good character development story.

We'll be getting some new recruits once we get rid of the AWOLs, and i'd hate to plunge them ass deep into a really intense and confusing mission.

I'll just post one for some detail and filler (ie, get us back to base, ward off another wave) right now.

And yet I fail to see a PM from you waiting in my inbox TX, it is after all very common knowledge that I'm your Platoon Commander And even if you though I was the Platoon Adjutant, I still expect to see complaints about the SL waiting in Comnet box when I sign on.

TX, I'm a tad bit disappointed that you took this public.
I'd like to see a PM from you as well as Tanus to explain this.

As for Gates'. I was aware of his punishment, as I was one of the participants who decided about the action taken against him. Gates, sorry to bring this up, as I've forgotten about it till TX decided to bring it up in public. Gates were suspended because Alater warned him more then once. You may look at page 1. of your story for proof.

As for Tanus' post not following up on yours. Maybe I misread myself,

I saw that Halcor boarded the ship in your post. And then Tanus' line follows in his post about finding Halcor again. You do realise that amidst all that action, that it is quite easy to lose sight of the General after stepping off from the ship. I don't see Tanus actually searching for Halcor in his post either. He seems to follow the General directly to his office/quarters/wherever.

You will respond to me in PM. If Tanus has indeed made a mistake I overlooked, then I have no doubt about him making an public apology and explaining the situation.

Please refrain from being this tactless again in the future.
