Ok guys, I'm now officially concerned with the activity of this squadron.

Flyboy, Romanflame, and Tinker - this doesn't necessarily apply to you since you're all new, but pay attention anyway.

Now, before I continue, I'd just like to say that I know I haven't done much myself past couple of weeks. That's understood, however my style of leadership has always been to set you guys up with the materials and then let you carry things on, adding in the odd plot twist here and there.

But because not many people have been posting that often (and I had some rl issues the other week) I held back from posting again because I wanted to try and coax some more life out of the first portion of the story.

Perhaps that was a mistake, who knows. I'm not like Frau Artasin over in Nazgul, I'm not going to whip you guys into shape, but I need to know what you guys want/expect from this squadron, because it is clear something is putting you off posting.

New guys, this is where you come in again - tell me what you want, and we'll go from there.

Joliner, I've seen you active elsewhere but I'd like to see more activity in this squadron please.

Fear and Rayne are on semi-leave I believe, but I would like you two to pm me an update on how things are going.

Reddog, Jamal, you two seemed to have disappeared. PM me and we'll talk.

Ferran, I know you're trying to keep up, just do what you can. Mira..Well, you don't need to worry about her.

I'm giving the squadron a week or two to respond in some way, otherwise I may have to seriously consider AWOLing more people, and that would be a detriment to the squadron.

What I would like to see is any of the following:

* A post on the story, two if possible.
* An official leave notice, or a PM informing me of your absence, and when you are going to be back.
* Feedback on what you would like from the squadron. I'm here merely to make your experience as enjoyable as possible, so you need to tell me what you want.

If I haven't heard from you by a week Sunday, you will be on the watch list, and may be put into reserves and/or AWOL.

I will do another post tonight moving the story on, so hopefully that will kick you guys into gear.

Any questions, let me know. I'll also be pm'ing this to all of you.

Disputes

If you any grievences with anyone else within the navy, whether it be a fellow pilot, an officer who you think has mistreated you, etc... I would ask that you simply come to me with the details and any evidence you wish to present. No-one else, just me.

With Officers, it is always key to remember that it's better not to argue with them, as that can cause more trouble then it's worth. Being one of the higher-ranking officers in the Navy, bar the NHC, I can solve a lot of problems for you, especially with junior officers.

So in future, if you have any problems, just come to me and I'll do my best to resolve it. Please don't lie to me though, or 'omit' anything, as I'll probably find out, and then I'll have to kill you.

I think what Hunter was getting at is that it's never a good idea to tangle with someone who has more clout than you do, regardless of where that clout stems from...not something you really have to worry about much, StOrMz.

Incentive: Awards, Medals & Commendations

As you may/may not be aware, there is a syste of awards and commendatiosn available to VE Navy Pilots who do good whilst in service.

Medals are numerous, and there is a full listing of medals + criteria elsewhere on this board. Promotions can also be earnt by pilots, but to do this they must show that they have something that people don't have.

Look at the top of this current page, and you'll that Jamal earned a medal for good activity. I've seen some of you new guys really kick it into gear the past couple of days - good work.

Keep it up, and you WILL see rewards for service. If you dissapear however, I can't reward your work, even if you had done great even the week before. If you haven't been seen in a few days, and haven't told me whats up, I can't in good concience reward you.
