Yes, that's right! Trooper of the Week is returning starting Sunday, September 2nd, 2007! For those that remember, it was good for a while but got old fast. For those that don't remember, I'll explain how things work:
Each week, Aphamos, Kairo, Riqimo, and myself will take turns selecting a trooper (in the entire army, not just our platoon) that has gone beyond expectations or has really put themselves out there to make the most of their time on here. That trooper will be selected to recieve a special prize.
Just to let you know, these are REAL, excellent prizes and will NOT be ICs or some form of Merchandise from the Imperial Center Store. (Sorry Fury) As to what they are....you'll just have to wait for the first one to be awarded to find out! High Colonel Rizzit BlackHeart

So I thought it would be best if we did it like this. I set it to start today, but I don't think I'd mention that we would award the first one today. We wanted to see if anyone would step up activity due to that announcement or in this case just maintained their usual excellence. Riqimo is indisposed at the minute, otherwise he'd make the post seeing it's his week to pick. Kanderin Drakken (hope that's spelled right) is going to be this week's trooper of the week. Congratulations to him.
Now the prize....the prize will be....upto him. I have on my desk several trial keys to some of the most popular MMORPGs out there. Rather than use them, I figure why not ration them out as prizes to you guys. I have enough keys to last us to the end of the year. Kandy, when I see you: we'll discuss which game you want. (For those that are concerned, yes: there are more here than Guild Wars.)
Congratulations Kandy. As to the rest of you, I look forward to giving another one of you next week's award. |
