Now that you've posted here on the ComNet, you've actually completed the Imperial Initiation (II) phase of Basic Traing (BT).  BT's second phase is called Flight School (FS), which is made up of three chapters and an exam.  The first chapter, and probably the most important aspect of our system, is that of Character Creation- the bio.  In order for your character to exist in our club, our universe if you will, you need to create them in written form, detailing their stories, their personalities and the physcial aspects that we may be aware of with a glance or perhaps things we can not see with the naked eye.  Either way, you're going to tell us how to describe you're character in a more detailed fashion than you're probably used to, but that's part of the fun

So, if you'll follow the link below, you'll be able to see the entirety of Flight School, the portion of BT I was referring to above.  BT is, essentially, training and thus, once you've passed through it, you're going to be placed in an Active Squadron, in 'Active Duty'.  So, depending on how well you do here against the recruits currently training here, you'll receive a rank at the end of your training and receive certain recommendations or promotions.  You'll want to go to Chapter 1- Character Development.  So, lets get off to a good start and get you goin- Rock On!

Derg Ylemsi's History....

Derg comes from a small family, only one sister(Krystyna Ylemsi), his father(Vyk Ylemsi), and his uncle(Edkar Varsil). His mother died of an unknown disease after his sister's birth. His father was a mechanic for the empire, but offered his services to anyone with enough credits to purchase it. His uncle on the hand, was a strong Rebel Sympathizer, though it never caused tension in the family. Vyk accepted Edkar's descicion and felt he had the right to his own beliefs. Derg looked up to his uncle alot, as he was an experienced pilot. Although Derg felt the rebels were unappreciative to all that the empire had done, he still got along great with his uncle. He was closer to him than any other person. Derg was close to his father also, as he inherited some ability to repair and build starcraft.Derg's sister generally ignored him, thinking he was too reserved and should be more open to more people. Derg never much cared what she thought, but always cared for her.

4 years ago, his father took a job from a rebel named, Jarell Farbel. Jarell needed his X-wing repaired, after a skirmish with the empire. Being as open-minded as he was, Vyk took the job, with no second thoughts about the man being a rebel. Several weeks later, Jarell returned, demanding his ship. Vyk asked for the credit, to pay for the repairs, and Jarell said he didn't have any, but still wanted his ship. Vyk refused to give him his ship, Jarell began to draw his blaster. Derg who was just walking into his father's shop, noticed this and charged at Jarell. Jarell fired a bolt into Derg's shoulder, luckly it just grazed him, but the pain was so unbearable, Derg blacked out. A few hours later, Derg awoke to find his family dead and Jarell's ship gone. Derg swore to avenge his family. In order to do this he decided to join the Imperial Navy, in hopes that one day he would face off with the man who slaughtered his family over a ship...

It is enough to pass you for now, but the important thing is that you understand the movements you just described and that you'll be able to apply them to squadron stories.  That being said-

You've been assigned to Kaph Squadron.  You'll need to report to Than Sion for your assignment: be ready to start writing   You may also want to start reading on the Kaph Squadron story: Mortain, I believe it is.  Furthermore, you'll need to take the Aviator's Exam by next Tuesday so that you can stay in your squadron.  If that's understood: Welcome to the Vast Empire Navy.
