Well, I've done it again- I now have a case of poison ivy. Does anybody know any good products or remedies that I could use? -----------------------

I've only had it once before, but I used calamine lotion to make it stop oozing. -----------------------

I'm immune, except for the rare time when I get it on an open wound or scratch.
As to remedies, there really arn't any. All you can really do is go buy some calamine, and wait for it to heal on it's own.

I've discovered Benadryl seems to help... This stuff just will not die though  -----------------------

Buy calamine, it stops the poison from spreading. Otherwise it'll just keep spreading, and not heal. -----------------------

witch hazel or rubbing alcohol. It dries it out and kills it faster. I'm so allergic to it I can almost get it from looking at pictures of it. -----------------------

Heh, my mom's like that. If my step-dad burns brush with poisin in it, she gets the rash just from being in the same room with him, even if he's already showered. -----------------------

Yeah rubbing alcohol and i use coco butter to try and dull the itching. Its better not to scratch to i just slap the skin till its numb. lol :P -----------------------
