A free multiplayer 3rd person shooter/melee fighting game. The download torrent takes a bit to get through, but it's a fun game to make the time pass. It may even be useful for competitions since it can hold up to 16 players for either Free For All Deathmatches or team matches.

The torrents will take a while. I believe it took me approximately 2 hours to download. Once it starts, however, it moves pretty good. It just takes that giant leap to get to 1%  -----------------------

Yeah, I'm downloading it on to one of my school tech room PCs. It took a while to get the torrent going, but its downloading pretty good now (faster then it would on my dialup, at least  ) -----------------------

I downloaded it but when I load it it stops at the loading interface section. I can't exit out of the program or anything at that point, it's strange. -----------------------

um...depends on their level, and your aim really. It's not tbc it's real-time. About 6 seconds worth of shooting non-stop with duel smg's will kill a guy. -----------------------

I've had the problem where it loads to the log-in screen, freezes after 5 seconds, and then crashes and returns me to the desktop. In that situation, I simply reinstalled gunz. The good part is that when reinstalling, the torret download is a lot faster - doesn't take nearly as long to download.
As for the damage, I don't believe its locational - it all depends on what level you are and what kind of clothing/armor you are currently wearing. I've been using one of the basic automatic guns, and have completely emptied about two clips into someone's head, and they didn't die. They died eventually, but that was like a guy who was six-to-seven levels higher than me.
Also, for the beginners, you should, initially, get the dual automatic guns. They're really nice for getting quick experience and Bounty (currency - enables you to buy more powerful weapons and clothing/armor). -----------------------

I thought about playing this, but then when you mentioned location of shot placement not having an effect I decided against it. I mean, really, who is going to take two clips from an automatic weapon to the head and not die? -----------------------

The way ping works is pretty messed up in this.
If they seem to have a really high ping to you, you have to aim really far ahead and guess where they're going etc
So you have to sort of remember who is a game is living in your country (low ping) and who is far away etc before deciding where to aim. The hit counter doesnt work in the slightest lol -----------------------
