-The NFL cannot intervene in the game.

Look at these stats
-The Steelers must have peppermint crap...because the refs and the announcers had their heads so far up the collective Steeler @#$ that it had to be smelling pretty sweet up there.
Now I forgot to tack on to my last post:
Should the Seahawks have allowed themselves to be put in a situation where the ref's decide the outcome? No, of course not....but then again...referee's should never decide the outcome.
Let the players play. It's the Super Bowl. The Grand Daddy of them all.
The NFL needs to do a lot of soul searching this off-season and fix the mess it put themselves in.
There are a LOT of pissed off fans out there. Not just hawk fans either. -----------------------

Anyone who watched the game can see there were a hell of alot of messed up calls, and those bad decisions cost the Hawks their chance at the big time. -----------------------

Ok, I agree with you. Myself, being a Pats fan, am extremely upset at the refs over at the Denver game. I can sympathize. But you just have to accept the Pittsburgh won. -----------------------

Very very true. I was REALLY pissed off at some of the calls that the refs made. For example the first TD the steelera made. That was such BS. I was rooting for the hawks, Sniff, they were doing ok in the 1st quarter, ripped right through the steeler defense early on. Byt they just...lost it. |

"Ripped right through the Steeler defense"? Bah! I will grant you that the Hawks did well in the first, and I was quite horrified, but I do believe that the Hawks only had a field goal or so by the end of the 1st. And they only scored 10 points total in the whole game. -----------------------

All teams have to deal with faulty calls. If they were as good as you said they were, then they could've beaten the Steelers anyways. -----------------------

After all, look at the Steelers-Colts game. The Steelers got hammered by stupid calls, and still won. Especially that interception by Rocket-with-Streamers (as I like to call him  ). -----------------------

No one can turn back time (although I'd sure as hell like to) but I believe if the Superbowl refs were actually competent that night, the Seahawks would have won. The Steelers are a good team, but when you match up the stats, Seattle has the run on lock, and Pittsburgh was merely off of single plays (even if they were good ones). -----------------------

Yea, i was totally dissapointed with the game. Even the guy i had a bet with said that the refs f'cked up the game, and didnt even want my money when i gave it to him.
I think next year, me and Jak will ref the game
