I've seen a few posts around at various times wondering if we'll ever get official VE t-shirts. Well, now is your chance.
We'll be using CafePress to produce the shirts. And now that they are offering black shirts, it's probably about time we get some official VE-wear. Any income made from the t-shirt sales will go directly to the costs of the server to help support the VE.
Here's the deal. Any member that produces a t-shirt design or design that is used on any VE-wear products will receive 10,000,000 ICs for the design. Now if that isn't a way to become instantly rich, I don't know any other way.
Now, in order to get your design chosen, the HC will select designs that it feels are good for any official VE-wear products. We mainly want to focus on t-shirts right now, but if you really want a VE-wear thong you can go ahead and try to make a design for one.
The HC will then put up the designs for a vote to see if they should be made into a shirt. This way we'll let you decide which designs you want for shirts.
We'll choose as many designs as we think that would benefit the VE-wear products, so don't be shy about making more than one design.
It is also possible that we could reuses these designs for the t-shirts on multiple products, so also keep that in mind. It would all depend on how the design was formatted.
Ok, now for some specs on the t-shirts.
- T-Shirt Front/Back 10" x 10"
- Pocket 6" x 6"
- Shoulders 10" x 4"
You don't need all of those if you don't want. It just depends on how you want your shirt to look.

We'd like to start out with a black shirt, but we can also have a white. They'd probably have to be designed differently, so keep that in mind. If you make the background transparent, then the designs could possibly be used on both shirt colors.

Rules
- This is a VE shirt, not a Star Wars shirt
-- We can not sell anything related to the official Star Wars so don't think about putting that into your design
- The shirt can be funny, serious, or whatever...let's see some creativity
- If you use artwork in the design, make sure to get the authors permission to use it in a shirt that will be sold
- Designs must have the VE domain somewhere (IE. VastEmpire.com, http://www.VastEmpire.com, www.VastEmpire.com, www.vastempire.com, vastempire.com, etc)
-- When you wear your shirts, you are also advertising for the VE so we can get more recruits
When you have made a design, post a reply to this topic with your design as a screen shot picture. The HC will then design whether or not to go forward with the design to put it to a vote. -----------------------

Okay, few ideas. First is a hat. Just a basic ball-cap. On the front is Vast Empire. Underneath is the person's division, whether Navy, Army, Or DJO. If it's okay copyright-wise, we could even add the Imperial symbol inbetween the two lines.
The T-shirt would have the same format as the hat on the front left breast. The back can have one of two designs. Firsty would be a generic:
Vast Empire (insert division here)
Discover Your Fate in the Empire
www.vastempire.com
The T-shirt could also have an individual's specific character info. I'll use myself for example:

Wouldn't Email be a more appropriate submission method, of course i can also understand if the HC doesn't want their inbox flooded.
About the shirts, is there a pocket on them, or would that only be a certain ones, it makes a horribly large difference, both on how to design for it and on weather i would buy one or not.

There are shirts without pockets. That's just where a front design could go I think. Or, it could be the full front design.
I'd definitely pick the shirt styles without the pockets on them. -----------------------

Alright, awesome, sorry but i don't bother with pocketed T-Shirts anymore, they rarely last a week before the pocket gets caught on something and rips the front up.
As for designs, I'll post the only one i cranked out before photoshop decided to blue screen my computer. Still think Email would be better, and i'll use it later, but for now this works. Functional for either a front or a back.
