RAIDERS Report:DATENews and shitThis is where you will get your weekly dose of major news. Read this bit if you want to know what's going on.Starting after this round of weekly reports, I will be enacting fines/punishments for each week you do not report. Each time you miss reporting, the fines/punishments will increase. The money from the fines will be going to the squad coffers, however, so don't think that I will be using them to buy yet another ship or a new droid or something. We need to start reporting regularly. I don't care if you haven't done anything worth reporting, just send me and Joamer a PM stating that, it really isn't that hard. The being said: I expect weekly reports from EVERYONE by 11:59pm EST on Thursdays from now on. BUT, since I know real life has a tendency to kick us in the ass, there will be a one day grace period for anyone who hasn't been seen on ComNet OR IRC. But, if you've been spotted on either, the grace period does not apply. The Quick Write will be starting soon, next week sometime if I've heard right. There was a post about it at some point from our wonderful CC, so go check that out for the basis of the story behind the QW. RAIDERS News, Channel Five!:The Quick Write is here!The Quick Write is upon us! As we heard, probably have already seen, our wonderful CA, the beautiful Garryll, has provided us with MORE than enough information to get us going down a good path for this thing. There's an FAQ post, a Rules post, information on Liberty Station and he also gave us information on Needle. So we have what we need to make this awesome, guys. Lets not dilly dally and sit there with our thumbs up our butts. When it comes to this competition (if it is a competition, I'm not quite sure myself) I want COMMUNICATION between ALL SQUAD MEMBERS. I want us in IRC, I want us talking and discussing in here, I want PMs sent to people if you have a question. One big part of communication that I want to see is us letting the others when we plan on posting, and if we seem to not be able to post in the original time frame we thought, we TELL somebody and keep everyone updated on your posting status. It's something that always seems to bite us in the ass and that isn't cool. I want that to change this competition if I can help, and by whatever celestial being is out there, it will change. Do I think we can grab this thing by the horns, pull it down and stomp the ever living hell out of it? Yes I do. And you all should think the same. Since I keep getting asked what we are doing, I'll make it easier. For now everyone is to assume doing their jobs on the station. Locating ways they can be helpful once things get real and interesting. Till then, try to avoid contact with anyone else.
I've got no specific orders for anyone, since in all likelihood Joa has not seen any of you for two weeks. He has an idea of what you are doing, but for now everyone is operating separate.
The anti is going to be upped soon, and you have a very interesting choice to make. You can either join in on the assault, or you can join the station for defense. Actually, while I wait for Joamer to contact me, I'm gonna work on a short post person story detailing Jae's infiltration and all that. If anyone else wants to join feel free. Since Mox and Jae are both Slicers (granted Mox being officially certified by the CORPS whereas Jae is self-proclaimed) they are both capable of forging the work papers and creating ID tags and all of that. So if anyone else wants to join in on the personal story, and maybe make it a Squad story, let me know.
