Background History
Karash Norgath was born into a wealthy family of Kuati shipbuilders, who had all been in the army or navy at some point. Karash’s close family included his mother, father and elder brother; Karash’s mother died in a freak accident when Karash was very young. This left Karash’s father in charge, but he was a cruel man and punished his sons at any point possible. However Karash’s brother was not at all like his father, he was a kind and caring person who would take any punishment to spare his younger brother.
Karash has forced many horrific events he experienced as a child to the back of his mind, but one event will haunt him forever. Karash a young boy and in school, he was a confident, popular and intelligent person. Karash’s brother was approaching the end of his time at school, and had no ambition to join the family business, one day he approached his father with this. His father was enraged by this and exploded in a fit of anger, Karash tried to intercede but his father knocked him out. When Karash awoke the room was destroyed, his father was beaten and his brother was gone. Karash’s father said they would never see his brother again. From this point on Karash experienced the full force of his father’s hatred as his brother was not there to accept it.
Several years had passed and Karash’s father has died, due to a severe infection caught when n he was working on Kessel. Karash stood to inherit his fathers business, money and home, however he did not want the business and gave it to his cousin, and Karash then remained at his home and finished his school life. He was quite happy in his estate on Kuat, but had become tired of the miserable old place and decided to join the imperial army.

Karash is a highly intelligent, confident and physically fit man. He is willing to sacrifice his life for the empire and is determined to overcome any obstacles thrown at him. Karash has also inherited a very kind and caring nature from his brother, he can also be very persuasive when the occasion calls for it. Although his is not easily angered, when he does get angry his personality rapidly changes. He becomes his father, a cruel and vindictive streak flows from him. Karash is (when angry) willing to punish and hurt others to get what he wants.
