Established soon after the New Republic took Coruscant, it’s an agency under the Republic Military that is tasked with the defeat of minor Imperial threats in the Western theater of the galaxy. It is a highly compartamentalized organization, with many agents acting independently with their own ‘private armies.’ They have the ability to call on supporting elements from the Navy and Army.
